Hey guys so I know romances arent available til year 4 my mc is a girl but what do you guys think are the best girl/girl ships. I am a guy but im torn between snyde/Mc ship and haywood/Mc ship? Who do you guys choose or are there other ships you chose and why just wanting opinions also getting excited to get to that point.
As a guy initially wanting to pair my MC with a girl, I ended up deciding on Barnaby because Merula annoys me too much in TLSQs, Penny exhausts me with her omnipresence, and Chiara is too irrelevant to the main story.
Tulip would have been great if she got any quests beyond the first date, but alas. I also would have liked MC with main-story Merula, but I can’t stand “Clean up all my messes like a nanny!” Merula the TLSQs shove on us.
Don’t know if that helps, but that was my decision process.

Totally agree with you. I liked Penny at first until I got flooded with her on everything and got annoyed. I just despise Merula. I do like Chiara but she’s barely even a side character so I forget she’s there. Barnaby was the best option so I’m choosing him. And it does help he looks very dashing in a suit, as seen in his family values TLSQ.
Unfortunately, Tulip is not a dateable option.
I prefer Penny, out of overall presence, consistency of her personality, what i mean: while people complaining it's present in every side-quest, at least she is nice (unlike Merula), she is written to care about MC, while other romances are either absent(blame Jam City, i know) or mean or annoying(Ben and Merula).
Chiara seems like romance-material, same Barnaby, Talbott is a solid one(personality-wise, but as an introvert, myself, i would struggle to deal with another introvert like Talbott, unless i can read his mind and predict his next intentions/things-he-wants)
so yeah my vote goes to Penny.

It all depends on the type of relationship you want your MC to have. Or you could just max all of them out to get all the rewards.
[Spoiler] You get another datable option after graduation, and I personally think they’re the most mature of the lot.
Merula, because she's the only one mentioned as being a couple in the main story; it doesn't happen with the others.
Some others are mentioned too I think, but much more rarely.
In my case I would say Chiara sure she is mostly invisible but she is precious and actually helpful when needed.
I wouldn't choose Merula as she annoys whole time except for romance tlsqs and Penny well....she give me that odd stalker vibe.
Tulip is decent choice but she is only available for celestial ball and first date tlsq so yeah.
You can either choose one or both of them or choose Chiara instead
I have a female MC and I am dating Penny. I tried a few dates with Chiara as well but all my romance TLSQs are with Penny.
I go with Merula, because I like the way she's presented in TLQS. In general her type of character is my favourite - at least in fiction. She is also quite sweet in romance quests.
My second option is Talbott - not that it helps you since he's a guy. He annoys me at times (sometimes it feels like MC coerced him into spending time with them) , but I like that he gives MC a lot of space and we're not forced to spend with him every living minute.
Out of girls, I'd go with Badeea as my second option. She appears in TLQS but you only met her on your 5th year. She has her own interests, is less bland in terms of personality than Penny or Chiara and her design is cute.
Saying so, you don't have to focus on only one person. You can date them all and choose for yourself which one suits you the most. I level up all the romance options except of Penny (I decided to never ever raise her romance level out of spite after I learned that she tries to put MC under love charm) and while not all of them are "my type" it's interesting to see different interactions during the same date
Whatever you pick make sure your sure becaise if you don't dedicate every date to that one girl or guy it'll take a lot longer to unlock the other date sites.
