Yeah old Democratic Germany was an absolutel funblocker. It forms a faction immediately invites everyone as well as guarentee rest. Fuck democratic Germany
The democratic tree can puppet or annex all of its european allies, get guaranteed and guarantee both france and the UK, has access to "Realpolitik" and "Weltpolitik" trees so it can be as aggressive as imperial germany (except southern jutland and reject lacarno), i dont know what the former focus tree was like (i imagine they invite all of europe into their faction) but the new tree may be the most OP german path
Yes but it shares the op parts with the monarchist path (annexing faction members, the decision for the European Federation and war goals against most majors)
Yeah but there are typically more democratic countries in europe than monarchist/non-aligned ones, with some chance you can even get france in your faction and diplomatically annex them

You can also do that by remilitarizing the Rhineland and then getting capped by the Fr*nch after justifying on their puppet.
You get Adenauer and the decision for the European Federation and the historical focus tree.

Fortunately now I haven't seen them go democratic once since Götterdämmerung and even if I did they're focus tree isnt abhorrently evil any more
