This has instantly become one of my favourite gundam series of all time. Despite it being rushed it still did alot. Of things so good it was amazing. I loved the cast with, roybea jamil and Garrod especially and even in my opinion the did a really good job in not only developing them but also giving us amazing female characters like tonya Sara and ennil. The dived further into there character and there relations with each other. More over I lived the gundam design the leopard and double X have to be my favourite and something I really liked was that they didn't just give all attention to garrod witz and roybea both got upgrades and amazing development the burst and destroy were amazing. As for the story I think it really does a good job on portraying a after war scenario . Moreover the main theme on the obsession of Newtypes I think the did it really well especially with The Dome. How peoples obsession over Newtype word has led to so much wars and pain. When In the end they are also humans. And BTW best couple garrod and tiffa. And lastly the chad that garrod Is threatened with the satellite cannon got his girl and then proceeded to blow the laser anyways. And dudes so cracked as a pilot and he isn't even a Newtype just insanely good at piloting which shits On newtype obsession even more. And lastly the opening theme was fire both of them

Welcome to the cult, mate.
😊
There are dozens of us. Dozens!
Enemy suits were also great, especially the Frost brothers' Gundams, Carris's Bertigo, and Lancerow's Crouda.
Visargo and ashtaron looked so cold and I think the designers really had a alot of fun with the designs

Where can I watch after war gundam x?
Free on Tubi.
I watched on the site aniwatch. But you can also watch it on YouTube all 39 episodes are available
After the war stops
I love a lot of things about After War, and including pretty much everything you said.
But what makes this series stick around in my head is how they show the destructive obsession around newtypes. For one example, both sides are so obsessed with the Flash System that they end up with a pair of newtypes that arguably have a superior power (the Frost brothers, because secret communication over any distance is overpowered as hell), but then proceed to completely ignore them because they don't fit the newtype mold that they expect.
And the Frost brothers end up showing both sides how wrong they are, if not for Garrod swooping in like the Gundam protagonist he is.
Definitely
I wish we would get a new gunpla for this series. Maybe a RG or even a HG.
Because most of the Gundam X series gunplas are quite dated at this point.
Say I'm thinking if getting my first gunpla model but I don't know where to start. Could explain it. A bit I've been wanting to get one for a while
I'd get one of the Witch from Mercury High Grades, they're pretty cheap and easy to build but still good models.
I haven't watched that yet. But I'll be sure to check it.
Maybe start with a Master Grade.
My first Gunpla was a HG (High Grade) Freedom Gundam I brought it back from my trip to Japan. It was not a good kit and I remember having problems getting used to the small parts. MG (Master Grade) are bigger in comparison and easier to build if you are new to Gunpla.
My first MG was the Sazabi Ver.ka - one of my all time favorites. In general the Ver.ka line is excellent. Maybe skip the water slides at first - they usually suck and arent necessary.
If you are unsure what to choose, maybe get a MG from the Gundam show you like the most.
One of my favourites is the V2 gundam from Victory gundam. But I don't know if its available in ny country or not
The MG ver ka of that kit is tough, the HG is pretty good though.
I recommend the "Entry Grade" RX-78-2. Very simple, don't really even need sprue nippers as the parts are designed to pop off the runners, and most of all extremely cheap. As the grade type name implies, it's intended to be an entry point model.
Pray we get some news during Bandai's March Hobby Info event.
I pray every day for that.
Indeed, Gundam X series is one of my favorites in the entire franchise.
Man I only watched that for the first time over the past couple years and man it is glorious..if I saw it before G Gundam it might be my fav Gundam
I'm on episode 17 now and I am loving the show. My only question is how Jamil lives with the immense weight of his guilt...
That guilt is also what motivates him
season 2 was really bad. but so was most gundam shows that go into fifty episodes.
welcome to the club, was recently inaugurated as well.
Good to br here
I had the exact same experience years ago when I saw it for the first time.
I really never minded the rushed ending. It didn't feel anymore out of left field than other Gundams. I do think the Frost brothers were weak antagonists but I get it. Overall, its just got a great cast, awesome designs, and is just pleasant.
I know right
