• Probably Return to Horrorland or invasion of the body squeezers part 1 and 2 with one last R.L stine cameo :)

Ooh!!! Definitely Invasion of the Body Squeezers. I really wish that we had gotten an adaption for that.

Now I’m just wondering if they’ll be more faithful to the books or draw from the film’s “Bug-Eyed Aliens.”

I would say it would have depended, as (If I recall correctly) they didn't adapt a few of the books due to (generally budgetary) limitations at the time of the 90's show. As nowadays it's easier in that CGI can be used more, instead of practical effects. I prefer practical effects, but I can understand why one would want to use CGI to be more cost effective.

Which book would you have adapted as a last episode?

I already said Invasion of the Body Squeezers when I agreed with you. Since I think it would have been a pretty perfect ending, as the Body Squeezers were never shown at all. And since the book is a two-parter then having the adaption as a two-parter would've worked out pretty well! And I think two-parters are a great way to end off a show.

Oh my bad i thought you were someone else lol

Yes the book has last episode vibes and even the ending in part 2 is a good way to end the tv series.

For the opening monologue, I would’ve have stine say something like

“Hello im R.L Stine! I write the goosebumps books, you’ve already seen every monster shown in the series which ranges from vampires, killer dolls, ghosts, werewolves, bugs and haunted masks but there’s something missing we haven’t shown yet and it’s something always talked about when we mention planets or galaxies (RL STINE LOOKS UP TO THE SKY AND A UFO LIGHT APPEARS AND WE HEAR UFO SOUNDS) looks like we have visit. Viewer beware! You’re in for a scare!”

    What ya think?

No worries! And that does definitely sound like something Stine would have said!

Another thing (off-topic) I wish we would get would be if Stine actually narrated audiobooks. I know some prefer to read the books, but I prefer both! And I think Stine has a pretty good voice, and would do some amazing narrations! Imagine listening to a read of Night of The Living Dummy or Monster Blood with him as the narrator of the whole audiobook!

Stine has a asmr type voice. It would’ve made him good money if he did that in the late 2000s. He can still do it, but you’ll notice the lack of energy due to his age now

Agreed! He has one of those voices that I could listen to for hours honestly, which is saying something as I don't like a lot of voices in audiobook readings. Maybe one day he will do it! Since it would be easier than writing, if he decides to retire from writing altogether.

  • They would have to had an RL Stine appearance in it like the specials from S1 and 2.

However I propose the finale being an original featuring an iconic monster. Something like "Return of the Living Dummy" or a Haunted Mask related episode like the premiere
