Sounds like it’s just a fake book to fit in with the theme of the anxiety bookshelf, then. I figured that was the case, but I was holding a shred of hope that there were some words (a short fake horror story) about anxiety. Would be amazing. Not written by Stine, but a lot of things with his name on them aren’t written by him either.
The cover is a still from the movie Repulsion (1965). I watched it many years ago in college and still think about that scene every now and then.
"[T]he plot follows Carol, a withdrawn, disturbed young woman who, when left alone in the apartment she shares with her sister, is subject to a number of nightmarish experiences."
Anyone heard of this one? I've never heard of it and looked it up and can't seem to find it at all.
Never heard of it before. Is it actually possible to read, just with super duper tiny print?
Jesus I wish lol. No, it's painted to look like a book and the cover is authentic but it's just a tiny piece of plastic

That seems likely, but idk, all the books in the shelf are all very real copies of actual books.
The barcode says ifitwerestine. It’s a fan book cover someone made and probably someone found the cover and thought it was real

The back is too blurry for me. What's it say?
No idea, it's too small to read. Aside from "everyone's afraid of something" I have no idea
The main characters name is Carol
Sadly this information was not helpful to my search :(
