I just got an email from Hoyoverse confirming that my attempt to get my account back has been rejected. I don't know what to do. I gave evidence I've purchased things from Hoyo, and I thought my information was good, but I still got rejected. I've spent so much money on this account that losing it feels so shitty. The reason I can't log on is because I stupidly deleted the email linked to the account without realizing I was using it for Genshin. It's impossible to retrieve the email, so I tried my luck with Genshin, but apparently they can't verify it's my account. Any advice? I don't know what I can do to make a better application.

try charging back the credit card at this point if you can't get it back. i know it's not the most ideal but you can at least get some money back?
Most of the transactions were a year or two ago, and they were paid for with a debit card, not a credit card, so it's impossible.
Did you have screenshots that showed your UID that you shared? Could you recall details such as character ownership and 5* weapons?
From what I've read on Reddit, hoyo was usually good with retrieving accounts. Is it possible for you to appeal or try again?
I can reappeal, yes. I have my UID from the Hoyolive website, and I listed every single character I own and the 5* weapons I can remember. I can't access the day I first joined or the day I played most recently, though, because I can't look at the date Amber joined my team (Since I can't log on), and I can't access the traveler's diary because that's a mobile only Hoyolive feature, and I can't log on the Hoyolive account on mobile because I need to verify the email. I can guess when I first joined (Because I remember it was during Klee's banner, 1.6), but I can't provide an exact date. I'm going to reappeal, I was just hoping people would have advice on how to do it better this time. The fact that I've spent so much money may be part of the reason Hoyoverse is more wary of giving the account to me.
Did they tell you what specific information you were lacking? or are they just asking you to read a crystal ball and give them some mysterious information that will satisfy them?
They didn't tell me what I was lacking, no. I'll just have to go through the information I sent and double check/verify it.
Do you have a way to reach a friend of yours outside Genshin? Ask them when it was the last time you played!

To know the exact account date this can help: you can check using the anniversary web event, your amber obtain date (if you got her the same day you started playing), or using this website which estimates when you created your account using your UID.
I used the link you sent, and the date it gave me actually seems accurate from what I remember about my account. Do you have any idea how to estimate the date I last played? I can't access the traveler's diary or my account.
Can't you recreate the old email? Ok, maybe it's a stupid question, but if you can do that, you should be able again to reclaim your account... or not?

Unfortunately, it still says the email is taken. It's possible someone else claimed the handle.

But that could be a(nother) reason for which HYV doesn't give you back your account.
Picture this: Hoyoverse receives a claim that an email has been deleted and a request for a change is being issued; but that email is actually still running.
I googled it earlier, but as it turns out, you can't ever reuse a gmail handle, even after it's long been deleted, to prevent security breaches. So that's not an option, luckily.
