my Navia team currently consists of Navia, Xilonen, Bennett, Xingqiu. I'm looking to replace xingqiu since I don't think he's benefiting my team well. Who could I replace him with? (I don't have that many 5 stars nor do I have furina)

Hey new player here wanting to know advice on should I try to pull for Escoffier if I want someone who’s probably in the next chronicled wish banner like Amelie / Sigewinnie ? I’m at 10 pity right now and 37 wishes saved . I had just won my Varesa as my first 5 star 😀.
If you like Escoffier then you should go for it but if you like an upcoming character more than save, just be careful with leaks incase they're incorrect.
Escoffier is a good support anyways, perhaps not with Varesa but she's strong
Is there somewhere to get more help with the Abyss than the Discord? A lot of the help in the Discord has just been "get good" which is what I'm actively trying to do by going there.
I can't clear 12-1 on 3 star pace which is looking like it will be the death of a multi-year 36-starring streak. Every video I've seen that has one of the comps I use on one side answers the problem of not clearing fast enough by having more constellations and 5 star weapons than I do, or they clear their other side significantly faster with a team I cannot replicate so they can afford to take a bit longer than 90s to clear the side.
What’s the play here? I got Diluc to c7 in the last rotation. Should I just get any of the ones at c2 to get closer to c6 at this point or does the Hexenzirkel buffs make any of those units worth using? I 100% am pulling Alice if she ever becomes playable and am F2P btw.
Meta wise? Depends who you have. If you have Varesa/xiao/play gaming or want to play plunge diluc or someone else then ofc xianyun. Otherwise raiden might be better, she's very versatile as a support and dps. If you already have lots of elector DPS/support maybe you don't need her though.
Fun wise I think xianyun is better because it unlocks plunge for all your characters which I find fun but maybe you like raiden design more so I'd pick who you like more
How important is Hydro resonance for DPS Columbina? I'm planning on pulling for her, Ineffa, and Lauma once they all have reruns. I was originally planning on putting Jahoda in the 4th slot as I like her a lot, but then I remembered Hydro resonance gives 25% increased HP, which Columbina needs boatloads of.
The last time I played Genshin Impact was Version 4.5 during the Alchemy Ascension event.
I want to start getting back into it but when I opened up the game again the screen said “Song of Welkin Moon” so …uh something major happened.
My question is will I be able to play the Natlan Archon Quest and all other side quests I haven’t played yet? I’m worried this is a new story now that I’ve been away for so long.
It's still the same game, 'Song of Welkin Moon' is just the name they gave to what's effectively the 6.x patches.
All the other regions are still there. Major difference with previously is that you can now use quickstart to jump straight to the newest regions without having to do the previous ones. So you could go do the Nod-Krai before Natlan if you want to. (You can still do the other AQ's, quickstart just lets you do them out of order.).
If you're worried about story, I'd just avoid the quickstart buttons and go do the normal questlines.
That's gonna be a spoiler if it really sent you to NK AQ line. Well, kinda. It starts with a "what the fuck do you mean? Did i miss something?" kind of thing (my personal reaction) that started from space and time for you (last natlan AQ).
Try doing focused mode on natlan. If it forces you to do NK prelude, then try to do the first part first until it lets you touch natlan's intro again.
Iirc that has a paralogism prereq quest so it might not even activate. Just try if your natlan will work just to be sure.
I'm on Dragon's Peak, next to the Cryo Hypostasis. I don't know why it tells me I should get a chest, but obviously I can't go "under" it in any way, and the interactive map doesn't show any chests there. I'm trying to reach 100% exploration and was wondering what it could be.
When I try to start a matchmaking or just enter co op mode the game tells me "you need to complete the following quest to access another player's world:" which is fine except for the fact that doesn't tell me which quest I need to complete. Pls help.
I've been playing until skirk release and I just returned, I've completed all archon quest until then.
See what's incomplete in the quest menu/try to go to Katherine and in the adventure levels, that's where you unlock co-op mode when you get to level 16
Can anyone suggest which weapons can be easily acquired for them?
• Venti - Don't have stringless and skyward nor any of his 4* weapons from previous events bcs I had just started this late august. I can't see any guides for him so I don't know what stats to focus on, I also haven't built him yet so I'm very willing to change the artifacts since I'll be farming once the new domain comes out. I currently have him on nod krai set and VV
Conclusion: What stats should I focus on? And what's his other f2p weapon? (I have lots of crowns so I am willing to crown him soon enough, I also have a bow billet)

• Flins - Can't get a polearm billet so nod krai craftable R5 is simply just impossible atp. I'm currently just taking a break from farming, I am dedicated to get him to 200%+ cdmg. I'm just waiting to enter interlude chapter so I can crown him. I currently have him on nod krai set 4pc and a crit rate off piece.
Conclusion: What f2p is the best for him other than nodkrai craftable?
Team: Flins(C0)/Aino(C3)/Ororon(C1)/Flex(sometimes Jahoda(C1) sometimes a sustain like Barbara(C3))
Billet Trove: Found in The Chasm (Lumenstone Adjuvant Lvl 9) or from events/quests.
If you have Dream Solvent from weekly bosses you can exchange the Northlander or Midlander to a Borderland type. If you haven't already, I recommend to do a lot of the weekly bosses if possible. Not just for the billet, but also Dream Solvent and the elemental gemstone in the long run.
If not available at all, any 5* polearm if you have them or just strap a Favonius on him for now. Blackcliff Polearm is available in the Paimon shop next month as the last resort, but not worth the 24 Masterless starglitter when you'll eventually change to Prospector.
For the flex slot, Sucrose is a solid choice or Lan Yan have pretty strong shield plus they can hold Thrilling Tales.
Does Rust have to be R5? Since most recommendations suggest R5 and I only have it on R1. I haven't been lucky with bow and polearm weapons (it sucks) despite my dpses needing those. About my Bennett tho however, idk why I can't see heals from him so stillness might not be my best option 💔
Is Ifa with Cinder and TTDS still good when I mostly swirl electro? If not, then I'll just make changes 👌.
Considering I haven't been playing for long, the only 5* I have is skyward polearm which gives tons of ER. I tried using it on him but since the artifacts aren't that great, I resorted to using a crit weapon on him.

Anyone know why my game crashes whenever I view the mannequin character? I play on mobile and for some reason the game crashes whenever I view mannequin on the character screen but for some reason, my old phone can view it with no problems.
Note: The phone I mainly play genshin on is infinix note 40 5G and it can run genshin smoother than my older phone(Infinix 40i) but it crashes when the viewing mannequin.

i need help for teams, im a returning player, i recently pull furina and varessa but i have to build a lot of characters. All recommendations are good for me, no matter the farming time. im currently using arle-citlali-xilonen-bennett, but i think i need more teams if i want to play the abyss more in the future.
bro looks great to me. if youre looking for any slight improvement, get cr to 60 and cd as high as possible. people been going for em gob when paired with citlali, but since youre in overload it looks great
help me decide my next pull between columbina and cryo archon. i can already clear every endgame content and has every teamcomps for all kinds of bullshit so now my pulling is based on who i like so heres my dilemna; columbina who i like as a character and highkey considering triple crowning, or cryo archon who i've been waiting for the past 5 years,my instincts tell me i should pull. im just a welkin spender and i really want to c6r1 cryo archon for some reason 🤔
Cryo archon is still out of the picture rn. You can still get her. Even a C4R1 cryo archon wouldn't hurt because archons rerun very fast after their first banner. So you'll eventually get that 2 cons.
If i have a Varesa c0 overload with obsidian, mavuika on her team and Widsith as her weapon, would be her sig worth to try and pull? Hace 118 trying to save for Ineffa just for mi neuvi but idk
I run my mavuika with iansan, and she’s level 80 with her burst level 8. Would get her to level 90 and level up her burst to level 10 improve the damage significantly or is it negligible? I’d rather spend resin more efficiently if that’s the case
"Leveling Iansan’s Elemental Burst should be prioritized as it increases her ATK buff’s cap. Leveling her to 90 also increases her ATK, albeit not by a large amount. With limited resources, it is better for team damage to level your DPS to 90 instead." - keqingmains

Your flag does not pop in my map so it's probably either inside the cave or on top of the mountain. That's the only places I've explored so far so it must be there.

So I got by chance Xinyan on C6. Is she worth investing/building? I am a returning player, so my DPS are Diluc, Xiao, Venti, Keqing, Raiden and Arlecchino (still to be built).
Skirk is pretty restrictive. She just want to stay in freeze. Noone can stop you if you want to run melt skirk tho. Just take mavuika. As much as i love cryo, skirk badly wants escoffier.
Diluc xingqiu kaeya barbara will do for starters.
You can also replace diluc with keqing and/or replace either kaeya or xq with fischl
Important is you get an onfield and 3 off fields. Wouldn't really matter that much in the overworld what you bring as long as it works. Imo add a healer so you don't die hence barbara.
That team will do. Imo add a pyro just to deal with shields and just blow it up with overload. They can get pretty annoying. Probably replace kaeya with xiangling once you get her.
Which 5 star dps should I get next if these are my main characters? im a light spender and usually just get a character and their weapon if i can, also currently in the process of building fischl and sucrose
If you want a DPS right now, Varesa is a solid choice and pairs well with Durin. That, and her current banner has both Iansan and Chevreuse whom complete the team (more cons the better).
Neuvillette is rumored to be rerunning soon, so you could also wait for him. Need to wait until livestream for confirmation. He's a great general purpose DPS and pairs well with a variety of supports and subDPS.
Orrr you can just grabbed the latest new shilled units, such as combining Columbina + Zibai or Ineffa (Ineffa also rumored to rerun next patch). Ineffa isn't a on-field DPS but apparently she and bina are able to "wheelchair" a bunch of chars into a working team.
They're all great options. Can't go wrong with either of them. I think Columbina + another lunar char would be the strongest option and also helps fight against the newer shilled enemies (Wild Hunt ones in particular).
I want to pull for Xilonen for my Mavuika team, i know however that Citlali is her best support to use, especially because of melt, even though Xilonen seems to have more versatility because she has elemental shred for 5 elements instead of 2. With that in mind, i wanted to know if you guys think it's worth it for me to pull for Xilonen right now or wait for Citlali rerun, because i feel like i could use Rosaria C2 in Citlali's place for the time being. What do you guys think i should do?
I use sucrose/kazuha for shreds. Citlali is more important to her because natlan + pyro shred + cryo. The only thing xilonen can offer other than shred is probably FS generation. I'm also tempted to pull for xilonen so I asked in the main sub and they told me iansan would've done the same or better in terms of damage.
i just started 3 weeks ago. i’m guaranteed and have enough pulls. i really want to get either xilonen or varesa for my account.
i want xilonen ‘cause she’s apparently the best exploration unit, and i’m honestly really struggling with genshin’s map ( all the climbing and mountains ). all my regions are below 10% due to that ++ she’s good for arlecchino, i heard.
on the other hand, varesa seems like a great character since i’m struggling with the abyss. considering i only have good pyro dpses, she’s very tempting. i also like the fact she can run quickly, but i’m not sure how she’ll help with my exploration.
TLDR; i want xilonen to help me traverse the map. i want varesa because i can’t clear the abyss
Best explorer has to be subjective. Natlan characters in general are very good at exploration. They can move very fast, they can climb very fast, some can even fly (more like glide with extra steps). The only thing they lack is someone that can eternally walk on water, a thing which furina has XD
Just get varesa so you have a second strong dps

Xilonen is good at climbing. That's it.
Varesa can sprint very fast. Like, super duper fast. She can also do it on water.
Chasca can fly
Kinich can grapple on things
Mavuika can move fast, fly (tho not as good as chasca iirc), and also climb fast.
Citlali can jump very high, like how you would with kazuha
The natlan 4 stars are like watered down versions of them but pretty much do the same. Kachina for climbing, iansan for running and stuff like that.
Hey yall... Uhm, why is my genshin suddenly unplayable? Like when I open it and it loads, after a few mins, my laptop lags and then genshin suddenly becomes dark, like i can hear the sounds of the menu and my character attacking and all. but its all black? Anyone got a solution or experienced the same thing as me? (This doesnt happen to hsr though)
What teams can I use to clear floor 12? These are genuinely my only built characters any suggestions? I've fully cleared up to 11 but I can't even get past first stage of 12

Because you can definitely finish it with that.
The first half is made for venti and durin. Second half is a plunge fest. You can climb zhongli's pillar and then plunge it. Once the shield is broken, blow it up with mavuika.
12-3 plunge boss, either bring a claymore or geo or both. Overload also works. Iirc you can even just drop zhongli's meteor on it
You can try durin venti faruzan benny. Then for the other you can try mavuika xilonen rosaria zhongli. Zhongli is just there so you can climb it and plunge the plunge squirrel.
I'll leave 36 to other comments lol. I doubt that second team can 36
Yes. Event quests like the current 'snowblazer journey' (or whatever its exact name is) are temporary things, either do them now or miss them forever. Would always recommend doing them.
Note: In event tab there are also temporary rewards for new content, like the bonus primo's for doing Durin's story quest, or the newest Archon Quest, within the next few days. Those are different; the quests (and their regular rewards) are permanent, it's only the bonus primogems that will expire. (Would recommend not doing those.)
It's nothing against you, it's just a consequence of Genshin trying to be an ongoing world at times.
Fwiw, event quests are typically pretty light on lore, they're mainly standalone stories. You meet some characters you have met, but they rarely go into deep lore about them. There is some weirdness in your character being familiar with them, but the quest still makes sense even if this this your first time seeing the characters.
Who should I pull, Xilonen or Varesa? I have Mavuika c0r1 and iansan c1. All my other characters are old, pre inazuma. I understand xilonen shreds res but that sounds like zhongli who I already have. I don't have a plunge dps, but I want to keep mavuika as main dps because I have her sig.

hi everyone, i’m coming after back long long time. i only have hu tao, ganyu and zhongli. i know there are tons of new (and even more meta) characters out now, but i just have to work with what i have for now.
i’m looking for pull advice / suggestions. i heard xilonen is good for hu tao (or pyro teams in general?), so i’m not sure if in should grab her now or save for someone else? i don’t own many 4-stars either, but i think forming good teams will just have to come in due time as i play more and obtain more characters.
Hutao is pretty dated in a way that new pyro dps characters can do the same or more damage with less effort. Imo just get a new dps. It's varesa's run rn and she's running with 4 stars that can make her team (iansan chevy).
You can get a free c1 hutao in the constellation event tho. Takes about 8(?) weeks. Not sure if you can still get it in time. It resets after some time anyway.

started genshin about a year ago, currently ar58 (I used to
play in 2021 but I ran out of storage) so since l joined again
in 5.1 (Kinich first banner) I've got plenty of good characters
but I feel like my only reliable DPS is Skirk, my second
strongest dps is Chasca but when it comes to a lot of
enemies she is kinda weak. I got Lauma and Neffer but my
Neffer still needs better artifacts since she only does
60k-80k I'm mostly f2p because I'm broke xd but I get a
welkin from time to time and I've prefarmed almost all of
Columbina's materials since she is the perfect addition to
my Neffer team and I really want Ineffa because I love the
electro-charged and lunar-charged (I initially wanted to play
lunar-charged Varesa) but I also want a strong and versatile
electro DPS.
I don't really know what to do since I've got guaranteed and I
really want Columbina (I don't have all my map explored so I
think I may get enough wishes to get her but you know it's
risky) I've got about 70 pity and about 3400± primos and I've
lost 2 50/50 I think so maybe I can trigger capturing
radiance but idk.
I'm really considering pulling right now and lock in before 6.3
so I can get both of them bc I also need a plunging dps.
What do you think? I'm open to any suggestions or advice:)

Your characters are in a great spot. Good choices! Your Skirk team is very solid and if you do pull Columbina, your Nefer team is set for a long time. Chasca is great as a flex to use any element even though she's not the best at any 1 thing which reduces the pressure to have a DPS of every element. If I were you, I'd just save for Citlali. You already have Mavuika and Xilonen, so getting Citlali will help your unlock THE strongest team. But that rerun might take a while. So it depends on how many wishes you have. If you have enough, Columbina Ineffa is looking to be a strong wheelchair and even deals more damage than most Electro DPSs do. But that will cannibalize your Nefer team, so for example on Stygian, you won't be able to use Skirk, Nefer and Ineffa for the 3 bosses without handicapping either Nefer or Ineffa. You should still be fine even handicapped though. Varesa is comfy and unlocks plunge for you , but I would always prioritize supports once you have a good number of DPS.
TLDR: Save or get Ineffa. Varesa is not as good but still usable.
What are your goals regarding endgame: what difficult are you aiming for in Stygian and Theater? And which is more important? If you just want to do the lower difficulties, supports (like Ineffa) are the priority. Higher difficulty, especially Stygian benefits more from vertical. Also, if you do get Ineffa and Columbina now, will you get Flins on rerun?

Haiii so basically I’m a F2P player, and I just returned from an extended hiatus stretching from the Chasm update to the current Nod Krai one. I was able to get Durin in my first 10 pull from whatever pity I left off at many years ago, and I’m not sure if I want to pull for Varesa—who would obviously work well with Durin—or save for Columbina, Flins, and Ineffa to take advantage of the new lunar reactions... I’ve also garnered up around 70 fates so far from completing everything in the current Nod Krai region in the past week and still have Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and some of the Chasm left to explore if that helps with any answers, thanks!
Columbina will be your best character to get the next few months for a few reasons. You know lunar reactions are pretty good, but nodkrai artifacts are slightly more flexible than natlan artifact sets. If you prefer natlan characters more then pulling for Varessa would be priority. You're meant to feel weak every few months anyway so just build characters you enjoy.
Either way, if you want to build a strong team, I highly suggest to stay at an artifact domain that fits multiple team members for 4+ months. I did that at fontaine for almost 2 years and it built my hypercarries and off-field dps characters pretty well
I can't get the Trial of Valor level with Arlecchino to work. I don't have her, I don't really understand how to play her. Who should I put her with for the reactions to work? Which characters trigger elemental damage with normal attacks, like just their weapons?
I haven't done trial of valor but if it's not very level specific,
Use arlecchino's skill first then go through your entire team's rotation, then go back to her. Arlecchino is usually strapped in vaporize teams so it's either yelan or xingqiu. Some teams run citlali/rosaria/kaeya. You can also put yunjin because NA buff. The team can have sucrose or lanyan for survivability and then finally benny.
Edit: burst wipes out your bond of life btw so don't use it like how you do in other characters
Thank you so much. It's in the timed event, where you have to beat as many enemies as possible in a certain time. You get trial Arlecchino and Yun Jin. You need 200k to get three stars, and there is a points buff for "do elemental damage with normal attack", also pyro reactions.
I had no idea I shouldn't use the burst, I kept using it as soon as it became available 😅😅
Sounds like a very easy task for arlecchino tbh. The only problem why i hate her playstyle to begin with is she can't heal outside of her own burst so you can encounter problems on harder enemies that drain hp. Bond of life does not tolerate skill issue xD

You can use fischl too because oz can do coordinated attacks. You can crystallize as much as you want then start blasting

Escoffier is a cryo support, specifically freeze.
Get her if you want her but yeah.. she's specifically made for freeze. Benefits a lot if you have ayaka or skirk.

If you like Escoffier then you should go for it but if you like an upcoming character more than save, just be careful with leaks incase they're incorrect.
Escoffier is a good support anyways, perhaps not with Varesa but she's strong

Is there somewhere to get more help with the Abyss than the Discord? A lot of the help in the Discord has just been "get good" which is what I'm actively trying to do by going there.
I can't clear 12-1 on 3 star pace which is looking like it will be the death of a multi-year 36-starring streak. Every video I've seen that has one of the comps I use on one side answers the problem of not clearing fast enough by having more constellations and 5 star weapons than I do, or they clear their other side significantly faster with a team I cannot replicate so they can afford to take a bit longer than 90s to clear the side.
What’s the play here? I got Diluc to c7 in the last rotation. Should I just get any of the ones at c2 to get closer to c6 at this point or does the Hexenzirkel buffs make any of those units worth using? I 100% am pulling Alice if she ever becomes playable and am F2P btw.

As a new player should I save for Raiden or Xianyun ? AR45
Meta wise? Depends who you have. If you have Varesa/xiao/play gaming or want to play plunge diluc or someone else then ofc xianyun. Otherwise raiden might be better, she's very versatile as a support and dps. If you already have lots of elector DPS/support maybe you don't need her though.
Fun wise I think xianyun is better because it unlocks plunge for all your characters which I find fun but maybe you like raiden design more so I'd pick who you like more
How important is Hydro resonance for DPS Columbina? I'm planning on pulling for her, Ineffa, and Lauma once they all have reruns. I was originally planning on putting Jahoda in the 4th slot as I like her a lot, but then I remembered Hydro resonance gives 25% increased HP, which Columbina needs boatloads of.

I want to start getting back into it but when I opened up the game again the screen said “Song of Welkin Moon” so …uh something major happened.
My question is will I be able to play the Natlan Archon Quest and all other side quests I haven’t played yet? I’m worried this is a new story now that I’ve been away for so long.
It's still the same game, 'Song of Welkin Moon' is just the name they gave to what's effectively the 6.x patches.
All the other regions are still there. Major difference with previously is that you can now use quickstart to jump straight to the newest regions without having to do the previous ones. So you could go do the Nod-Krai before Natlan if you want to. (You can still do the other AQ's, quickstart just lets you do them out of order.).
If you're worried about story, I'd just avoid the quickstart buttons and go do the normal questlines.
That's gonna be a spoiler if it really sent you to NK AQ line. Well, kinda. It starts with a "what the fuck do you mean? Did i miss something?" kind of thing (my personal reaction) that started from space and time for you (last natlan AQ).
Try doing focused mode on natlan. If it forces you to do NK prelude, then try to do the first part first until it lets you touch natlan's intro again.
Iirc that has a paralogism prereq quest so it might not even activate. Just try if your natlan will work just to be sure.

I'm on Dragon's Peak, next to the Cryo Hypostasis. I don't know why it tells me I should get a chest, but obviously I can't go "under" it in any way, and the interactive map doesn't show any chests there. I'm trying to reach 100% exploration and was wondering what it could be.

Bug while trying to enter co op mode
When I try to start a matchmaking or just enter co op mode the game tells me "you need to complete the following quest to access another player's world:" which is fine except for the fact that doesn't tell me which quest I need to complete. Pls help. I've been playing until skirk release and I just returned, I've completed all archon quest until then.
See what's incomplete in the quest menu/try to go to Katherine and in the adventure levels, that's where you unlock co-op mode when you get to level 16

For weapon you can use Rust, Hamayumi or Song of Stillness(only when Bennett heals Venti)
For artifacts just use whatever you have for now till the new set arrives.
With the Hexerei buffs, he's a solid DPS when paired with other Hexerei unit. Build him with the standard ATK/Anemo/Crit build.
For the flex slot, a bit unconventional, but Ifa with Cinder City+Thrilling Tales can be a good buffer when you swirl pyro.

If you haven't already, for polearm billets you can get them in:
If you have Dream Solvent from weekly bosses you can exchange the Northlander or Midlander to a Borderland type. If you haven't already, I recommend to do a lot of the weekly bosses if possible. Not just for the billet, but also Dream Solvent and the elemental gemstone in the long run.
If not available at all, any 5* polearm if you have them or just strap a Favonius on him for now. Blackcliff Polearm is available in the Paimon shop next month as the last resort, but not worth the 24 Masterless starglitter when you'll eventually change to Prospector.
For the flex slot, Sucrose is a solid choice or Lan Yan have pretty strong shield plus they can hold Thrilling Tales.
Does Rust have to be R5? Since most recommendations suggest R5 and I only have it on R1. I haven't been lucky with bow and polearm weapons (it sucks) despite my dpses needing those. About my Bennett tho however, idk why I can't see heals from him so stillness might not be my best option 💔
Is Ifa with Cinder and TTDS still good when I mostly swirl electro? If not, then I'll just make changes 👌.
Considering I haven't been playing for long, the only 5* I have is skyward polearm which gives tons of ER. I tried using it on him but since the artifacts aren't that great, I resorted to using a crit weapon on him.
I'm already in floor 8 of the spiral abyss and I didn't get billet from floor 3 if my memory serves right. I already have a dream solvent so I'm really just hoping for a polearm billet. I heard that R5 Prospector is the best, is it still okay with just R1? 😅

Electro swirl still works, it will buff Fischl as well but you lose overload dmg during Venti burst+Fischl skill
Skyward is still better than spending 24 masterless starglitter on Blackcliff weapons. The only 4* crit polearm are in the Battlepass.

Anyone know why my game crashes whenever I view the mannequin character? I play on mobile and for some reason the game crashes whenever I view mannequin on the character screen but for some reason, my old phone can view it with no problems.
Note: The phone I mainly play genshin on is infinix note 40 5G and it can run genshin smoother than my older phone(Infinix 40i) but it crashes when the viewing mannequin.

Cryo archon is still out of the picture rn. You can still get her. Even a C4R1 cryo archon wouldn't hurt because archons rerun very fast after their first banner. So you'll eventually get that 2 cons.

Adding characters is always a better option than adding sigs. That said, Varesa’s sig is absolutely busted
I run my mavuika with iansan, and she’s level 80 with her burst level 8. Would get her to level 90 and level up her burst to level 10 improve the damage significantly or is it negligible? I’d rather spend resin more efficiently if that’s the case
"Leveling Iansan’s Elemental Burst should be prioritized as it increases her ATK buff’s cap. Leveling her to 90 also increases her ATK, albeit not by a large amount. With limited resources, it is better for team damage to level your DPS to 90 instead." - keqingmains

Some examples are chevreuse+durin/bennett/iansan+fischl core team along with any pyro or electro dps

No. Her only benefit is her shield that many others can do better and her damage is really weak with her atk+def+pyro+physical hybrid scaling.

Skirk is pretty restrictive. She just want to stay in freeze. Noone can stop you if you want to run melt skirk tho. Just take mavuika. As much as i love cryo, skirk badly wants escoffier.
Diluc xingqiu kaeya barbara will do for starters.
You can also replace diluc with keqing and/or replace either kaeya or xq with fischl
Important is you get an onfield and 3 off fields. Wouldn't really matter that much in the overworld what you bring as long as it works. Imo add a healer so you don't die hence barbara.

That team will do. Imo add a pyro just to deal with shields and just blow it up with overload. They can get pretty annoying. Probably replace kaeya with xiangling once you get her.

If you want a DPS right now, Varesa is a solid choice and pairs well with Durin. That, and her current banner has both Iansan and Chevreuse whom complete the team (more cons the better).
Neuvillette is rumored to be rerunning soon, so you could also wait for him. Need to wait until livestream for confirmation. He's a great general purpose DPS and pairs well with a variety of supports and subDPS.
Orrr you can just grabbed the latest new shilled units, such as combining Columbina + Zibai or Ineffa (Ineffa also rumored to rerun next patch). Ineffa isn't a on-field DPS but apparently she and bina are able to "wheelchair" a bunch of chars into a working team.
They're all great options. Can't go wrong with either of them. I think Columbina + another lunar char would be the strongest option and also helps fight against the newer shilled enemies (Wild Hunt ones in particular).
Do we know who is coming in the next patch?

I want to pull for Xilonen for my Mavuika team, i know however that Citlali is her best support to use, especially because of melt, even though Xilonen seems to have more versatility because she has elemental shred for 5 elements instead of 2. With that in mind, i wanted to know if you guys think it's worth it for me to pull for Xilonen right now or wait for Citlali rerun, because i feel like i could use Rosaria C2 in Citlali's place for the time being. What do you guys think i should do?
I use sucrose/kazuha for shreds. Citlali is more important to her because natlan + pyro shred + cryo. The only thing xilonen can offer other than shred is probably FS generation. I'm also tempted to pull for xilonen so I asked in the main sub and they told me iansan would've done the same or better in terms of damage.

i just started 3 weeks ago. i’m guaranteed and have enough pulls. i really want to get either xilonen or varesa for my account.
i want xilonen ‘cause she’s apparently the best exploration unit, and i’m honestly really struggling with genshin’s map ( all the climbing and mountains ). all my regions are below 10% due to that ++ she’s good for arlecchino, i heard.
on the other hand, varesa seems like a great character since i’m struggling with the abyss. considering i only have good pyro dpses, she’s very tempting. i also like the fact she can run quickly, but i’m not sure how she’ll help with my exploration.
TLDR; i want xilonen to help me traverse the map. i want varesa because i can’t clear the abyss
Best explorer has to be subjective. Natlan characters in general are very good at exploration. They can move very fast, they can climb very fast, some can even fly (more like glide with extra steps). The only thing they lack is someone that can eternally walk on water, a thing which furina has XD
Just get varesa so you have a second strong dps

Xilonen is good at climbing. That's it.
Varesa can sprint very fast. Like, super duper fast. She can also do it on water.
Chasca can fly
Kinich can grapple on things
Mavuika can move fast, fly (tho not as good as chasca iirc), and also climb fast.
Citlali can jump very high, like how you would with kazuha
The natlan 4 stars are like watered down versions of them but pretty much do the same. Kachina for climbing, iansan for running and stuff like that.

Like when I open it and it loads, after a few mins, my laptop lags and then genshin suddenly becomes dark, like i can hear the sounds of the menu and my character attacking and all. but its all black? Anyone got a solution or experienced the same thing as me? (This doesnt happen to hsr though)

Are you talking about 36 or simply just finishing floor 12?
Because you can definitely finish it with that.
The first half is made for venti and durin. Second half is a plunge fest. You can climb zhongli's pillar and then plunge it. Once the shield is broken, blow it up with mavuika.
12-3 plunge boss, either bring a claymore or geo or both. Overload also works. Iirc you can even just drop zhongli's meteor on it

You can try durin venti faruzan benny. Then for the other you can try mavuika xilonen rosaria zhongli. Zhongli is just there so you can climb it and plunge the plunge squirrel.

Yes. Event quests like the current 'snowblazer journey' (or whatever its exact name is) are temporary things, either do them now or miss them forever. Would always recommend doing them.
Note: In event tab there are also temporary rewards for new content, like the bonus primo's for doing Durin's story quest, or the newest Archon Quest, within the next few days. Those are different; the quests (and their regular rewards) are permanent, it's only the bonus primogems that will expire. (Would recommend not doing those.)

It's nothing against you, it's just a consequence of Genshin trying to be an ongoing world at times.
Fwiw, event quests are typically pretty light on lore, they're mainly standalone stories. You meet some characters you have met, but they rarely go into deep lore about them. There is some weirdness in your character being familiar with them, but the quest still makes sense even if this this your first time seeing the characters.

Xilonen is one of Mavuika’s best supports so if you’re dead set on maining Mavuika you should go for her

I’ve been having trouble as I don’t have Bennett, which has created a lot of difficulties for me. Any advice on who I could put with them as well as which 5* I could pull for next? hi everyone, i’m coming after back long long time. i only have hu tao, ganyu and zhongli. i know there are tons of new (and even more meta) characters out now, but i just have to work with what i have for now.
i’m looking for pull advice / suggestions. i heard xilonen is good for hu tao (or pyro teams in general?), so i’m not sure if in should grab her now or save for someone else? i don’t own many 4-stars either, but i think forming good teams will just have to come in due time as i play more and obtain more characters.
Hutao is pretty dated in a way that new pyro dps characters can do the same or more damage with less effort. Imo just get a new dps. It's varesa's run rn and she's running with 4 stars that can make her team (iansan chevy).
You can get a free c1 hutao in the constellation event tho. Takes about 8(?) weeks. Not sure if you can still get it in time. It resets after some time anyway.

Hi guys, English is not my first language and I've never posted on Reddit before so, sorry if I make a mistake. started genshin about a year ago, currently ar58 (I used to play in 2021 but I ran out of storage) so since l joined again in 5.1 (Kinich first banner) I've got plenty of good characters but I feel like my only reliable DPS is Skirk, my second strongest dps is Chasca but when it comes to a lot of enemies she is kinda weak. I got Lauma and Neffer but my Neffer still needs better artifacts since she only does 60k-80k I'm mostly f2p because I'm broke xd but I get a welkin from time to time and I've prefarmed almost all of Columbina's materials since she is the perfect addition to my Neffer team and I really want Ineffa because I love the electro-charged and lunar-charged (I initially wanted to play lunar-charged Varesa) but I also want a strong and versatile electro DPS. I don't really know what to do since I've got guaranteed and I really want Columbina (I don't have all my map explored so I think I may get enough wishes to get her but you know it's risky) I've got about 70 pity and about 3400± primos and I've lost 2 50/50 I think so maybe I can trigger capturing radiance but idk. I'm really considering pulling right now and lock in before 6.3 so I can get both of them bc I also need a plunging dps. What do you think? I'm open to any suggestions or advice:)

Your characters are in a great spot. Good choices! Your Skirk team is very solid and if you do pull Columbina, your Nefer team is set for a long time. Chasca is great as a flex to use any element even though she's not the best at any 1 thing which reduces the pressure to have a DPS of every element. If I were you, I'd just save for Citlali. You already have Mavuika and Xilonen, so getting Citlali will help your unlock THE strongest team. But that rerun might take a while. So it depends on how many wishes you have. If you have enough, Columbina Ineffa is looking to be a strong wheelchair and even deals more damage than most Electro DPSs do. But that will cannibalize your Nefer team, so for example on Stygian, you won't be able to use Skirk, Nefer and Ineffa for the 3 bosses without handicapping either Nefer or Ineffa. You should still be fine even handicapped though. Varesa is comfy and unlocks plunge for you , but I would always prioritize supports once you have a good number of DPS.
TLDR: Save or get Ineffa. Varesa is not as good but still usable.
What are your goals regarding endgame: what difficult are you aiming for in Stygian and Theater? And which is more important? If you just want to do the lower difficulties, supports (like Ineffa) are the priority. Higher difficulty, especially Stygian benefits more from vertical. Also, if you do get Ineffa and Columbina now, will you get Flins on rerun?

With durin in a varesa team, is c6 fischl better than c0 iansan? i tried pulling a few more times for her c2 but unfortunately didnt get it :(
Haiii so basically I’m a F2P player, and I just returned from an extended hiatus stretching from the Chasm update to the current Nod Krai one. I was able to get Durin in my first 10 pull from whatever pity I left off at many years ago, and I’m not sure if I want to pull for Varesa—who would obviously work well with Durin—or save for Columbina, Flins, and Ineffa to take advantage of the new lunar reactions... I’ve also garnered up around 70 fates so far from completing everything in the current Nod Krai region in the past week and still have Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and some of the Chasm left to explore if that helps with any answers, thanks!
Columbina will be your best character to get the next few months for a few reasons. You know lunar reactions are pretty good, but nodkrai artifacts are slightly more flexible than natlan artifact sets. If you prefer natlan characters more then pulling for Varessa would be priority. You're meant to feel weak every few months anyway so just build characters you enjoy.
Either way, if you want to build a strong team, I highly suggest to stay at an artifact domain that fits multiple team members for 4+ months. I did that at fontaine for almost 2 years and it built my hypercarries and off-field dps characters pretty well
I can't get the Trial of Valor level with Arlecchino to work. I don't have her, I don't really understand how to play her. Who should I put her with for the reactions to work? Which characters trigger elemental damage with normal attacks, like just their weapons?
I haven't done trial of valor but if it's not very level specific,
Use arlecchino's skill first then go through your entire team's rotation, then go back to her. Arlecchino is usually strapped in vaporize teams so it's either yelan or xingqiu. Some teams run citlali/rosaria/kaeya. You can also put yunjin because NA buff. The team can have sucrose or lanyan for survivability and then finally benny.
Edit: burst wipes out your bond of life btw so don't use it like how you do in other characters
Thank you so much. It's in the timed event, where you have to beat as many enemies as possible in a certain time. You get trial Arlecchino and Yun Jin. You need 200k to get three stars, and there is a points buff for "do elemental damage with normal attack", also pyro reactions.
I had no idea I shouldn't use the burst, I kept using it as soon as it became available 😅😅
Sounds like a very easy task for arlecchino tbh. The only problem why i hate her playstyle to begin with is she can't heal outside of her own burst so you can encounter problems on harder enemies that drain hp. Bond of life does not tolerate skill issue xD
I have Varesa at C0R0. Is it better to go for R1 or C1? I don’t mind losing the weapon banner pull cause I already have xilonen at C2
her weapon is rlly good on her and better than her c1. also a good investment overall
