I only do that for educational videos but damn … some moments are supposed to be experienced in regular speed 😭
Only thing I watch at more than 1x is university related because teachers speak at 0,25x in those videos.

I started watching poor quality re-uploaded anime subs on YouTube in 2x speed long before TikTok was a thing.

Everything I think im cooked i remember I cant even watch at 1.25× speed because it feels off and too rushed for me to comprehend things
How DO you watch movies at 2x speed? Maybe some streaming service lets you do that? I feel like a tech-illiterate old woman.
Default 1.25. If they talk slow 1.5. If they talk fast 1. 2? I like Alvin and the Chipmunks... but no. edit: lol i dun has a tiktok
This is very interesting! Do you consider watching movies a simple input of information then? Do you consider how film makers intend you to experience the film, or is it more about efficiency, or something?
I don't do it with movies or TV. Takes away the experience/art. It's an ADHD tactic for when I don't find things interesting. My PC/Phone are the only places I ever change the speed.
because of people watching tiktok. Doesn't really matter the type of content you speed up low attention is the point. but w.e.
