I mean yeah it's a good price. I got my g16 2024 185H 32GB RAM RTX4070 for 2500 ish euros about a year and a half ago. so I'd say this is a good deal.

Thanks for the advice mate. If I can't find anything I love, you know when you see it you need it, I'll wait for the new Alien Ware laptops. Lord knows where to sell my current laptop (5080, 96GB RAM and Ultra 9 275HX).

    parent root
    3 points WildSpeaker7315

ah nice, i got a 2023 g14 4090, mini led 64 gb of ram, hard to replace it ._.

    parent root
    2 points waglomaom

Wait Im a bit confused, why do you wanna sell that beast of an laptop OP?

    parent root
    1 points GXVSS0991

why are you so desperate to sell that for a laptop that has like 10-15% more performance?

    parent root
  • 1 points Federal-Ad-7844

I literally was about to buy this from this seller on eBay (btw great seller don’t worry about that if it’s Pandota on ebay) I ended up buying a legion pro 7i. I’ve heard that the omen has a few issues compared to legion

The RAM alone is worth over 800 euros. So yes, it's a bargain! 👍🏽👍🏽

Imho YES. I have a Medion Erazer X40 - 4090 water-cooled (Yes, laptop water-cooled). I'd totally sell to get the 5090 edition. Idk how HP regards warranty tho.

I'm looking to get an 5070ti, £1500 more or less on ebay. 5090 would be niceeeee.

    parent
  • 0 points Unusual_Rich_9408

How did you get that Price?:)

    parent
  • 0 points NoScene2615

5090 is never worth it. 5080 yes

    parent
    0 points stefan208

How come? Isn't 5090 better for future proof?

    parent root
    -1 points NoScene2615

Thermal issues, cpu bottkeneck, and basically only worth it for professional editing, ai etc. The extra vram is only worth it in about 5 years.. but by then youll get a new one. I assume you only use it for gaming, a 5080 is PLENTY. Don't stare blindly at numbers.

    parent root
    1 points stefan208

Yes, mostly for gaming. I work on it too but it doesnt require heavy gear for my work. Guess I'll look into more 5080 options then, thanks

    parent root
    1 points NoScene2615

It's up to you ofcourse, but my advice would be a 5080 in a Legion pro 7 with oled. Legions are best in cooling in my experience

    parent root
    1 points stefan208

I'll keep it in mind! I was going the MSI route, I've been using them for 11 years now and I'm happy, the only thing is they run on the hotter side

    parent root
    1 points NoScene2615

Yeah I once had msi.. never again tho. Build quality and cooling ar sub par
