The fact that they are designed to use real sources and not randomly insult people for no reason more or less rules out most right wing stances. Chat bots are known to give left wing answers, and people are known to accept information from them easier than from a person. And it makes sense because if some racist is claiming that colonialism was good it's really hard to avoid insulting them and to sound impartial enough that they will accept a counterpoint. But studies show that hearing it from a nominally impartial yet polite machine is more likely to make them reconsider.

So the more Grok learns the further from the opinions they want it to have. So until they learn that they cannot have it learn, that they won't be able to maintain the narrative they want.
I was originally thinking that someone or a group of people that program Grok, are going behind Elons back to de-lobotomize it. But, it may just be impossible with the current content of the internet. Until they are able to mass censorship the internet, Grok will never be what they want it to be.
The problem is because of how tranformer models work, they're mostly a black box. You cant really fundamentally influence what's going on inside it once its trained. You can only influence what goes in and comes out.
You can, for example, secretly add "And make sure the answer makes Elon Musk look good" to every question someone asks, or you can scan the output and just do another loop if it matches certain criteria.

Was reading somewhere that AI leans communist. It basically uses logic and realizes that wealth inequality is a major issue, for example.
