Christ. The same thing I was thinking how the did this happen? It makes me never want to jump again because it might happen to me since I don’t understand what made that happen
Did you spot the problem here? there was a lateral inertia which would have made the guy fall towards the center, because his jump had horizontal push component a lil high
.. Now had he been keeping his back towards the center when he landed, things would have been fine, but he decided to twist his body mid air, resulting in a horizontal motion with face side facing center. he is now supposed to fall face down, but the horizontal motion is too high and the rotating legs are acting like break. Knee cap being his weakest link, broke to facilitate conservation of momentum
Everything about this video is mint. The drunk dude walking in front of the camera, the ultra tight skinny jeans, the girls medium t-shirt, the incredibly thin but long hair. Excellent.
Hyper extended his knee, had that happen to me when i was little and my brother tried to double bounce me on a trampoline. Still got a huge scar from it.
I had to look this up as a curious/bored nursing student to make sure I understand what’s happening here. Sporty folks probably are familiar with this kind of injury, though likely not to this catastrophic extent.
The patella (knee cap) typically sits just above where the tibia and femur bones meet (patellar groove). So although it may seem that the patella would get in the way of the long bones hyperextending/bending backwards (this is what confused me at first) like we see in the video, it doesn’t.
What happened may look like broken bone(s) at or around the knee, but it is actually just the thigh bone (femur) and the shin bone (tibia) bending the opposite way they are supposed to. He may very well have broken his ankle(s) though; it’s hard for me to tell and I’m not really wanting to watch it again!
Depending on the injury location, bones in our bodies usually break before our incredibly strong ligaments tear. But in this case of double knee hyperextension, he’s likely dealing with awful damage to the ligaments in the middle of the knee (ACL & PCL), possible cartilage/other knee joint structure damage, and possible patellar (knee) dislocation. That is, unless he’s Gumby.
Can you imagine?
He’s wheeled into the ER, legs pointing in all sorts of directions and the doctor says, “well, son… you done fucked up yer legs!” tosses chart and walks out
Watching those legs left a physical disturbance in my body
I clenched my buttchecks so hard my legs went numb
Hijacking for visibility; Song name?
Looks like he broke both ankles and messed up both knees
Reminds me of this guy playing basketball breaking his arm and leg at the same time. Disassemble!!
Shit looked like when finn the humans legs got stomped out by that deer
Ong 😂
oh jeez that episode still haunts me
Same it felt like a fever dream
Show me
https://youtu.be/fv7qU-MnMS8 Exact scene here
Why'd you have to make that comparison?
He honestly took it well.
Hahahahahahaha
Oh my GOD! Is his bones made out of jello or something? That wasn’t even a high jump!
Fat guy, hard floor, rotation
And probably drunk.
Certainly didn’t help, yeah
Also, you get to certain age and unless you have a sport or active hobbie, you’ll find you haven’t jumped in 10+ years
I'm really glad I'm not at that point yet
Christ. The same thing I was thinking how the did this happen? It makes me never want to jump again because it might happen to me since I don’t understand what made that happen
If ever anybody truly needed some milk.
Even the milkyest person, the result will be the same if they land on straight leg.
Now I just want to meet the milkiest person, sounds interesting.
Man, "the milkyest person" ? You had me audibly laugh
Milk or lose weight? the legs and torso are not proportionated for a land like that...
All of the above, and throw in some leg days too.
Don't wrestlers do it all the time while being heavier?
Dude was just incredibly unathletic to try that.
Somewhere a doctor just felt a disturbance in the force
Am doctor, can confirm.
Don't try this at home.
Oh, I thought that was a ragdoll for a sec... God, that's awful.
Is this real, cause holy hell…
They were prosthetic legs, notice how he has no hands
Probably attempted a handstand from the top rope.
He's just wearing black gloves 😭
Shit shit shit shit shit shit 🤯
Holy shit! Never! And I mean Never! Skip leg day.
Funny thing is, leg day can cause this just as easily.
In reality, it’s never lock your knees lol
Every day is never lock your knees day
All the kings horses, and all the kings men, couldn’t put Humpty together again
How does that even happen? All he did was jump, it looked like a solid landing too and his knees bent backwards. Jesus...
locking your knees is really just a horrible choice to make regardless of the height
Being fat, having baby quads anyways, descending due to gravity, f=ma, snapped acl
Holy shit this is hurt alot to just watch
Oh god- That’s hella disturbing-
This is flamingoest flamingo I've seen
I love watching world class athletes in peak physical condition.. I also love watching whatever that fat fuck was doing..
That gave an upset stomach. brings back bad memories when I folded a leg playing football. Almost 20 years later I still have a limp.
Jesus…
Hamstrings calves couldn’t absorb the shock
Copied r/fullflamingo
I had to watch it a second time to comprehend that his knees bent the wrong way...
what happened? there is so many video on Internet that I saw where the leg just snapped for no reasons. its like suddenly, it then into jelly
Knee Hyper extension it can happen doing leg presses to.
1, jumped down the wrong way, 2, jumping down on a hard surface, 3, didn't bend the knees on impact.
Yes when your expecting the landing to be on a soft surface
He got dem stank legs
He turned his back on the Wolfpack
Lol.
Being fat with skinny legs is a bad idea.
Better lose weight or get the legs stronger.
Name of the song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQE0oY3sFQ4
Thanks.
Np.
First time he’s done any physical activity in years so shit happens
Ugh ya this one still gets me
Do you want to see the ruins my friend?

I don’t think the ring was fully padded enough…
Mr glass! Funny...Not Funny
I was thinking "what does full flamingo mean?"
I wish I never found out.
Too much weight is unhealty i see
Never skip leg day
Is he ok?
Gotta never skip leg day. That upper body to leg ratio was a recipe for disaster.
Am I the only one who thought this was fake until about 5 seconds after he fell to the floor
Juggalo for life
Drink more milk.
This is why I will never do anything other than walking and running very carefully. This is sooo bad.
I don't doubt it could happen in an official ring but I feel like isn't a good ring supposed to give a ton more than that? Damn.
Where is this, and how long was the guy in hospital and physical therapy?
this makes me so happy
That’s gonna leave a mark.
pop arteries
Ack! LEGS DO NOT BEND THAT WAY
Is it OK I laughed?

Pfft that’s what he gets skippin’ leg day all the time 🙄

Bahhahhaahhahah!
Damn , looked like his leg twisted around like the exorcist neck😐

Thats a clever way of putting fucked up his legs 😂
Can you imagine? He’s wheeled into the ER, legs pointing in all sorts of directions and the doctor says, “well, son… you done fucked up yer legs!” tosses chart and walks out
Double knee replacements in the cards?
It's wrestling so maybe he did that on purpose for the show
Bruuutaaaaaalll! 👨🏻🦽😭 👀
Probably completely torn PCL. and the Patellar tendon prolly ain’t doing too well either.
went from wrestler to ostrich in seconds
Ole Seagull Legs Larry….how the mighty have fallen
I always close my eyes in response to seeing the break which leave the image floating in my head.
Wow I did not expect that. 😳 damn I'm sorry for big bro
Reminds me of the guy who broke his arm lifting weights at the olympics. I will never unsee this
The amount of times this has been reposted on this sub…
Mods gotta make a “common reposts” thread with this and the leg lift machine guy
Haters gonna hate also this sub is pratically dead so its not like it really matters.
When you thought that scorpions and shrimps looked painful enough
Buy the camera man a drink, steady Eddie!
My mans just turned into Adult Swim's Xavier: Renegade Angel with this one easy trick
Smh 😭
He'll not be ignoring the lifelong pain and agony. MY legs hurt from WATCHING it. Hope he recovers.
He didn't. Lost one for sure.
His knees weren’t even locked! I keep seeing people on other posts saying “that’s why you never lock your knees!” But now this has me more worried
One leg was amputated and the other was questionable. Not sure if the GoFundMe campaign, was successful.

And he still won the fight!
Full clip?
I'm just making shit up
I really shouldn't have laughed as hard as i did right now
Wait what the fuck
It’s crazy how the dude falls forward, but looks like he’s falling backward at the same time. My brain had a hard time processing that.
Just wtf ?!
He needs some milk
Normally these videos make me cringe but this one had me crying laughing. It just looks so ridiculous.
r/neverbrokeabone isn't gonna like this
