Hopefully they never recover the market share making the baby food sector a loss so they withdraw totally from the market

They didn't meet EU standards. They'll sell them in Africa, and if they bribe trump, the US as well.

If they deem it not safe for consumption it must contain explosives or bioweapons or something. It would need to be extracted and sold for a higher profit.

On Irish news. Ireland has very high food safety standards... SMA have been on grocery shelves a long time alongside other brands like Aptamil

We don't even import UK beef or Brazilian Beef (despite what EU is trying to do planning to open flood gates to cheap brasilian and pumped full of untracked medicines/hormones Beef) . Irish Beef and Milk industry is big here.

Edit to add.. this other news about the Nestle milk factory in Limerick that was closed in recent years.. https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/food-supply-chains/an-irish-nestl%c3%a9-factory-town-prospered-with-china-now-its-jewel-in-the-crown-is-leaving/90163110
