Is the ranger there? Or do they still charge you to go in at night?

I’ve noticed that sometimes the gate is open and others is closed.

  • It's always open after hours unless there is a safety reason during inclimate weather events or some wildlife related rarity. Want to spend the sunrise up there and avoid the absurd park entry fee? Go before the rangers get there.
