Have they changed from Thursdays to Tuesdays for giving out free games? Used to get them on Thursdays till the week before last, but last week Thursday there was nothing and then we have it today, a Tuesday.
These EGS free games are through Twitch prime now labeled Luna. They release free games every now and then on platforms like Amazon, EGS, GoG and Legacy Games?
Epic Store has weekly free games on Thursdays. Then at the end of the year do daily free games for like 2 weeks or so.

I wonder if on the 1st we'll already get the first drop of January + the news post with everything coming later the month, or if we'll have to wait for the following week's thursday since it's the first day of the year (holiday in some countries).
we will probably get it on the 1 january, after a couple of years of giveaways they probably automatized the procedure, they just input the list of the games for the month and the system releases it on the date and time preestablished, i assume they got the list for the next month by 15 of december tops already
I highly doubt. It was very obvious the last 2 weeks they moved the dates on purpose to be on tuesdays to avoid any holidays just in case something goes wrong or who knows. 1st is also one of those days they would want to avoid if you ask me - very likely to drop on tuesday again for the first week.
of course its automated, like everything in the amazons warehouse, do you actually think they have 3 people clicking on the 3 games at the same minute to set free the games hahaha, nah its automated they set a date a time for the process, now the process can be override manually, and now that is the question, why would they set a different date on the system to set those games? something about luna migration site? why would they override the automatic dates and times to another is the real question.
Not for Amazon. EGS/Steam are doing sales and giveaways now to get people that got money and gift cards over the holidays. Amazon already got their Prime subs from pre-holiday shopping and the new Fallout series, and have no reason to pull people with big games.
No GOG Keys this time. Happy New Year!

Maybe because last Thursday was a holiday they postponed it?
Makes sense, it could be that.

Here’s a link to a post that lists the free games this holiday season.

"I highly doubt" was for the "we will probably get it on the 1 january". I didnt question the automated process ^ happy new year!
I always claim them, same thing with epic, even legacy games and GOG.
And whenever steam throws us a bone here and there but they don't really have to they have so many sales it's ridiculous.
Dreamscaper sounds very nice, speaking as a Hades player/fan. Definitely gonna give it a shot.
I backed the game on Kickstarter when it was being developed. It ended up being one of only two games I didn't regret backing. It was a ton of fun

Damn these Luna giveaways looking kinda grim.
