It's been rough for awhile, but I'd assumed they were saving some heavy hitters for Christmas time. And... they're giving away... Fallout 2... again... for Christmas. Looks like they're going to put all of their gaming budget into Luna streaming.

Agreed. I have zero expectations when it comes to these freebies and have picked up a lot of good stuff over the years, but these are the worst giveaways I've seen from Prime. Seems to have coincided with the Luna re-brand.

I already cancelled my Luna stuff after 6 months but there's nothing compared to epic, steam, etc. It's either old stuff or previously given stuff.

I wouldn't really mind Luna getting the bigger games, except being streaming-only means that service is effectively worthless to me. It'd be far more interesting if it was a kind of Gamepass Lite where I could download the games to play them. I would've been all over Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Can I ask, does anyone ever actually play the Legacy Games games that are free with Prime subscription?

I actually quite like some HOGs but the Legacy launcher is such a pain I can't even bother with it. So while I can't speak for everyone I will definitively say that no, no one ever actually plays them. I cannot fathom why they didn't try to partner with Big Fish Games instead.

Going over my Legacy games archive it looks like they did, at least, give 'Gems of Destiny: Homeless Dwarf', which is a match-3. (I did not look very hard)

It does seem weighted to HOGs, though.

A few months back there was a retro D&D bundle on Humble- I think that with next week, every game within it will have been part of Twitch/Amazon Prime/Luna Gaming/however they decide to rebrand it next time?
