I just want my win back Epic, not asking for much. Played trios, down to 2 but the other player was nowhere to be found for well over 5 minutes. Rode out the storm until I couldn't any longer. How often is this occuring this season?
You throw a bunker underneath the shard at Lethal Labs and when standing on it you're froze and can't move. You can shoot at them and even the storm doesn't deal any damage. I've seen so many people this season and it's frustrating.
You can’t target them - no matter how much damage you do to them. If you see someone on a port a bunker standing still and not taking damage, then you’ll know they are the scummy one.
Yeah I've encountered 3 of my own games so far with this happening. Honestly another thing since Epic allowed all past cheaters back it's been insane playing considering the aim bots.
Yeah I hate it so much. It makes me paranoid if they had aimbots or not. Like every single bullet hits me no matter how I jump or move to the side. Don’t know if they are really good or cheating and I don’t want to get in trouble and banned for doing false reports
Yeah I just know when I use a Shockwave into the jetpack and flying across the map. Taking damage on every shot they make is a definite indication for me. Then I view them through the match. They're a good inch off from the target dealing 100+ damage on shots. So insane and hope they implement harsher bans this time around. It takes the fun out of playing knowing no matter how good you are you have a kid on the other end with Cronus BS. 😂
Yeah, happened to me this evening. It just sucks man. Your doing a great match, you shockwave to escape, you are about to land behind cover, and before you can land properly, you are dead.
I mean, lucky shots happen, but going from 100 health and 50 shields to 10 health in mid air is crazy shots.

Why would Epic want to discourage people who aren't 100% sure someone is cheating? I've reported hundreds and hundreds of people and have never seen a single consequence. When I'm not sure someone is a cheater? I report. Epic can figure it out themselves.
So funny story. This latest update for some reason my game default is duo/no fill even when Im not in a party. I didn’t catch that and started playing and I was getting so pissed off, I reported like 3 teams before I realized that I was playing duos. I just couldn’t believe I kept getting teamed that many times. I don’t know why my Fortnite always defaults to duos now.
I’m getting downvoted but it’s true. This is from their website. It seems like a lot of people use aimbots so I’m just worried about reporting it and they don’t have it and then I get banned because I thought someone was sus too many times. It’s hard to tell.
By breaking their community rules. You will get a ban, probably a 24 hour ban, when caught but if you keep doing it after getting said ban, it can lead to longer ban time including perma bans. This is from their community rules website that states what is reportable (bannable)

But if you get multiple reports they know you’re doing it on purpose. I’ve read that exploit bans are only 24 hours so the most you would lose is a day unless you keep doing it after that.

Bunker or build to the zero point at the labs. You won’t get banned for it. Although a bit scummy epic hasn’t banned people for these types of glitches in the past

Nah there’s an exploit, may happen to some accidentally, where If you throw down a bunker in a specific spot you get completely stuck but won’t take storm damage. I’d be pissed if I got robbed the win that way
that happened one game with my trio during the super season, my friend was hiding from bad guys in a porta potty and we were all yelling at her to get out of the storm but she took 0 damage and just hung out there for the whole rest of the game just to see what would happen, we ended up winning without her help but would’ve been interesting to see if we died if she would solo the rest of the game from the porta potty
Have had this happen to me 3 separate times. All on reload. No final killcam and nobody let except me. So frustrating. Went and rewatched and it was just me.

There was one game I played this season where I used an alt to get bot lobbies, but when I left the game on my alt it still stayed in the game, even after saying it left the party. Eventually when it died, I was still able to buy its reboot card but when I tried rebooting it would go all the way and nothing would happen afterwards. I’m wondering if this is what happened and it still counted them as alive and in the game or something like that.
I tried doing that the other day cause my team was being trolls so I was throwing the game once they all died, and the storm went up to like a 15-20 tick and despite still being full of heals I just died too quickly to be able to recover, and this was well before the storm had gotten as small as it was in this clip.
Is that just because I deep into the storm? I was all the way on the edge of the map on the beach.
There is a known bug with the port-a-bunker. If you place it just right on a certain part of the map, you will freeze in place and can’t move but you also don’t take any damage at all. You can always review your gameplay and go to their POV to see if they are using that exploit. I’m pretty sure it’s bannable so you can report them.
I may be experiencing another bug on my PS5 with the replays. Unless it's something I may have turned off a long time ago, but the replays are unsaved so I would think that they would just appear. I share this console with another family member who also plays fortnite and for some reason even though I was logged into my account when I go over to replays, it just shows their solo replays from earlier in the day. It doesn't show any of the replays from the trios matches that we played together when this occurred. I was waiting until the end of the match to catch a glimpse of whoever won but when I died in the storm my loot dropped and it never panned to another player. So I didn't get a chance to report them then.
If they keep doing that exploit someone will report them. They will get banned either way. Just sucks this happened to ya. Hopefully it gets patched soon.
is there a limit on how many times a vending machine can patch? because you can definitely accumulate enough gold this season to ride that out for a while

I hope you can see this reply! I had a weird glitch in squads yesterday where my squad mate and I died (two others had already left; random fill). Instead of showing me the buttons and normal UI to return to lobby, it was just kinda my death view. No spectating. I let the match go all the way to the end, felt like it took forever (I still had the exact same view of the map from where I was killed), and then it showed ME the victory banner! I don't know what caused this, but I am confident it's what happened to you!!
I thought this was fixed or maybe it got changed back, I can never remember... I thought if you stayed in the storm too long you got storm sickness that would eventually do more damage than you could out-heal
This happened to me once I lost due to storm but when I looked and replay mode there was nobody left so it's a glitch that caused me to lose without a chance of winning
There's a glitch where if you pick up the boss abilities and spawn your henchmen, they stay alive even if you die and if they aren't killed, they will win the game for you as they stay in storm without taking damage.
This isn't true; The henchman die when you die - it's just that your game doesn't catch up quick enough and thinks the next person (people) are on your team. It shows you as winning, but this is a different glitch (it's the labs one)

The game UI never updated to let me spectate, but I never left the match (only saw a view from where I was killed the whole time). Then the victory banner. It's a huge glitch and I have no clue what triggered it, and it definitely wasn't intentional.

The self revives have ruined the end of game matches. I wish they would get rid of them. I’ve killed the last guy and then died of storm damage because he had a self revive and then lost.
There's currently a glitch where a player can place a port-a-bunker in the centre of labs and not take storm damage. It's been around for about a week now, but it seems to have moved from 'known glitch' to 'well-known glitch'. No doubt someone has posted it on TikTok / YouTube.
Yeah, I googled "lethal Labs bunker glitch" and immediately a video pops up showing a guy who doesn't take damage on top of the bunker when placed near that floating bit whether it's from a storm or weapons apparently
Did you happen to go back and look at the replay? That will shoe you if either A, someone was healing over and over in the storm or there really wasn't anyone there.
Check the replay if you can, that way you can check if there was someone healing in the storm or if it was just a bug. I remember that a couple seasons ago another mode, either Reload or Blitz, had a bug for like 2 weeks where even if there was no other player alive, it wouldn't give you the victory and you'd end up dying in the storm.
On this topic I can chug a slurp juice right before and hit a chug jug as soon as the storm closes in on me but I will always lose the storm battle to the guy hiding from on the roof or in the building. How does the game decide who lives and dies in this situation? Because I lose every single time. Is there a particular item people are using that gives them an edge?
Thank god I got my first and only win I care about getting at the start of the season, because I could not handle trying to get the victory glider if I had to deal with ts

I've had the game say 2 were left when only I remained before. It's a known issue that sometimes there isn't another player left.
OP, when you died did it show you the other player deep in the storm healing up or did it just show you your loot on the ground?

Could be that the moment the other guy won, he immediately left the game, so the OP couldn't have seen the enemy's viewpoint.

Storm is too high damage to heal off that long

Storm sickness is still there. You've got to be in the storm for a long time for it to kick in.
Do we know the exact amount time?
iirc it's based on storm damage taken, not time, so it comes much quicker in late game storm than early

How does it work?
You have to get a revive then go under where the particle accelerator is and jump through the warp while reviving.

I didn't know you could replay the match back. It didn't pan to another player when I died in the final storm. I'll go back and check and see
