When it comes to Pizza Hut restaurant architecture, they ditched the small trapezoid windows used since 1959 sometime in the late 1980s in favor of larger, wider rectangular windows.
It was originally a Pizza Hut, then a different Vietnamese restaurant, then Pho999, now abandoned after a fire. I live in Brantford and see it every day.
I've been to Phở Việt Nam 999 in Oshawa, Ontario a couple of years ago.
The group I went with all immediately commented on how it was a former Pizza Hut by how the exterior building looked with the iconic colours and design.

Pho Viet Nam looks like it might've been something else to me? Seems a bit too wide.
A lot of Pizza Huts looked like that in Canada.

I've definitely seen those later ones, although it looks a bit too wide even for that? But even so I admit it could still very well be a Pizza Hut

Ah nice to have more context, figured some people would know.
Yep definitely was a Pizza Hut. Went there many times.
That's in my hometown growing up! I do remember the days when it was Pizza Hut as a kid. I recently visited and gotta say, not bad Vietnamese food
Breakfast pizza at IHOP
"No One OutPancakes the IHOP"
There's another Pho Vietnam 999 at an old Pizza Hut in Oshawa as well.
Woodstock too! Or at least some pho place. Great banh mi there.
IHOP: Italian Hut of Pizza
XD
Hows that Vietnamese restaurant?
Closed due to a fire.
Ha, that pho viet nam place is in my old hometown. Cool.
Windsor has an all you can eat sushi spot in the old one, while pizza hut moved to a pick up only slot in a strip mall, next to the sushi restaurant
The sushi is actually pretty good, I've been a few times
simcoe has a Wild Wing in one
Bells Corners (Ottawa) is a Davidson's Hearing Centre now.
The one in Kanata is Indian Supermarket
It also used to be a Local Heroes.
In woodstock we have Sunrise, another Vietnamese restaurant in a former pizza hut
huh. I was going to say the pho viet nam was Oshawa Ontario. Guess old pizza places are the natural spots for pho places.
Wendy's in Goderich and Wild Wing in Stratford
Nobody out-pancakes the Hut!
Too bad we can't upload images in comments.
The one near me (Shefford Road in Ottawa, ON) went from Pizza Hut -> Money Mart / Dog Grooming (sign for that not in pic).

Drove by this one a while ago in Midland Ont, turns out it was a Pizza Hut + Taco Bell at one point. Now it seems to be a dentist and a spa.
Street view doesn’t go back far enough to see the original but if you go back the earliest the colour scheme is still there. https://www.google.com/maps/@44.7382009,-79.8751259,220a,90y,125.25h,81.95t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sI_xVTgxga1u9FhldNRgcOw!2e0?utm_campaign=ml-sul&g_ep=Eg1tbF8yMDI1MTAxNV8wIJvbDyoASAJQAg%3D%3D
