Hi there ELInewhere. Just a quick reminder of the subreddit rules.
Rule 1: As this is a Food Photography forum, the emphasis on submissions posted here must be on presentation. Images must be high quality, with most or all of the food in focus (blurring for artistic purposes is allowed, but must be minimal). The food named in the title must be the focus of the shot. The food must be plated neatly. The lighting within the photo should illuminate the food sufficiently that we are able to see what you are trying to show us. There should be no cutlery visible in the image. There should be no body parts visible in the image.
Submissions which break any of the rules will be removed. Kindly report rule breaking posts to the mods for removal and allow some time for review. If needed please follow up with a modmail.
5 kinda of cheeses. Fruits (cherry, blackberry, blueberries, kiwi.. & the obvious grapes), 3 different nuts, 3 different meats (they are tucked in under the nuts.. because meat and nuts), Peruvian peppers, chocolates, candied oranges, and a sprinkle of gummy bears. Hits the whole rainbow of flavors.
Cool design but composition wise this is the wkrst charcuterie board I’ve ever seen. You has gummy bears sitting next to cheese, meat, fruit, chocolate, and nuts

Love the Christmas plating but definitely not charcuterie... I see like 6 pieces of meat
There are 3 different meats tucked in there. Definitely heavier on the fruits and cheeses this year.. I made it on a smaller platter than usual.
The word charcuterie literally is “cooked meat”. And should be flesh and accouterments for the flesh.
This ain’t that. Words have meaning.
This is like showing a picture of a salad with some bacon bits and calling it a steak.
This is, so far, the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen on this sub lol.
Edit: I’m sure it’s tasty OP, but where the meat?

It brings me and my family joy.. that’s the motivation. Fun, creative, cute.. joy. That you can also snack on.
I mean this in the nicest way possible.. you may need to work on taking life less seriously.
Have some fun.. eat the chocolate.
Looks around 10% charcuterie on there. More of a grazing board as it's not cooked meat focused.
Santa better give me $700 if he wants me to serve that to guests

Miss a lot of charcuterie
I think this is so cute, OP! Don't let the negative comments bring you down :) I hope you and your family have a great Christmas.
