I have already booked reservations at Lyla as well as the Queen's Arms for Sunday roast. What else might round out our experience for Monday and Tuesday evening...(challenging as some great restaurants are closed). Thank you!
The Palmerston, Sotto, Kyloe, The Table or Under The Table (The Table is ‘fancy’, ‘Under the table’ is a bit more relaxed
If you want a bit more casual or lunchtime options then have a look at Toscano (everyone goes to Mootz but Toscano is better and more traditional), Bonnie & Wild or Edinburgh Street Food, and Maki & Ramen.
There’s two main ones. Bonnie and Wild at the top of the St James Centre and Edinburgh Street Food (ESF) which is very close to it and next to the Omni Centre.
It's the same as it has always been, the problem is the entitlement of people.
I know when I walk in i'm going to get brusque service, but a 3 course lunch for less than £20.
Oh yeah they've always been rude af I don't mind that. Kinda admire it tbh when you're so good you can get away with it. Like all the best Chinese takeaway have 3.8 stars for the same reason lol

Prefer ESF, they have a more causal vibe, indoor/outdoor seating and have table service.
