The beam pictured is by far the worse looking one, but every vertical support beam in the basement has cracks running from top to bottom to some extent.
Ask this in r/askcontractors or the homeowner thread on r/structuralengineering. Often these eventually get replaced with new steel posts if the wood becomes unsound over time. You just need to know if it’s time. If there’s not a more significant foundation issue, that’s just money to negotiate if needed and may be a slow moving bullet repair if not forthcoming.

What is it supporting and do the other beams look like that?
they support the main horizontal support beams running across the basement
And yes, added a comment but every vertical beam in the basement has some cracking, the one pictured though seems to be the deepest.
Do the cracks go all the way through the wood or across the grain?
No,the deepest pictured went in about inch into the wood but shined a light and didnt see it from the other side

Thanks for the suggestion, commented over there!

You should be getting a professional inspection and have them tell you. Have a contractor come out and take a look too.
