In arena messing around and found a B!Ike that neutered himself.

Also in the same vein, Eirika ring C!Alfonse (he died to Edward pretty easily, as did the Ike)

I will say patience hardy bearing isn't bad if you want to turn off the getting hit first part of the skill, the potent is a speed check and the damage reduction is based on defense. It's just that Ike likes that part of the skill.

Tbh my Summer Ephraim’s performance improved with the HB seal. Forced Vantage isn’t always ideal

I wonder if they switched Braver Ike’s seal with someone else and didn’t realize he got Hardy Bearing? I’ve done that lots of times because I don’t lock my teams.

Alternatively, spend 3 weeks getting fodder for a meme build only to realise that you’ve accidentally messed up your skill synergy and have to get fodder again (me with base Nerþuz (I accidentally gave her a b skill instead of dark beast force from Mythic Lyn because I forgot her reflex effect is in her b skill)
