They just have a refreshing personality compared to all of the other MCs, imo. They're not treated as super special and have a mundane history as a mercenary. The Arval thing is almost a curse, and they fit in as a member of the army and advise rather than being utterly deferred to. Shez and Robin are far and away better than Byleth, Corrin, and Alear imo
Does it really draw more attention than her default outfit? Though I don’t really know what kind of outfit is good for covert operations. I assume an athletic and flexible outfit for stealthing but for infiltration I guess the outfit would just be civilian clothes
