Same. If a character has a prf, no matter how bad. It gives them something slightly unique. Im not expecting any old unit to beat new units these days ;_; but it gives a character some type of flavor
It really depends on how they hold it. If someone holds their tome closed, and by the binding, it usually looks like they’re just holding Blutgang normally. And characters who levitate their tomes generally look pretty decent with it, except for cases like H!Nowi or F!Julia where their tomes get distorted, then it looks bad.
I spend more time than I’d like to admit taking random characters to the armoury to see what they look like with arcanes.
Fr, I remember her being one of the most annoying dancers to run into alongside Legendary Azura. Azura because she offered crazy support for the time while Ishtar was very capable of killing you if you neglected her or fell in her range.
Back then it was fine. Dancers were designed near completely without combat, even Micaiah’s Dawn Suzu only had her signature effective damage against armor & cavs and a visible atk+3, and adrift (young) azura had - 4 spectrum on foe as long as she was adjacent to an ally. Even Legendary Azura didn’t have any combat until her remix/refine, and it’s not good. This was basically in line for dancers. One Effect, no stats.
Back then it was pretty nice actually, she could get some sneaky kills on anyone with res in the 20s and below ,combat was just a welcomed bonus things for dancers
No, it was an exceptional weapon for a dancer. This was a world when dancer combat was really bad, so Ishtar having actual combat ability was really good.
One of the few brave tomes in the game. This was a world before Triangle Attack/Dual Strike and having a ranged brave effect was really good.
She was an incredibly clutch unit for Arena Assault in particular.

Ah when all their kits can fit on one screen without scrolling. I also love how Ishtar and Reinhardt’s art go together the same with Berkut and Rinea.

I tried it on Celica and it doesn't look that bad

Arcane weapons being good doesn’t change the fact most of them look fugly as shit with the tome ones having lazy ass animations (Blutgang and Medusa)
