Sure but it won't matter in the long run, her memories with the Order of Heroes will be erased when she's returned to Fodlan. I choose to believe that Sothis might remember because she's that powerful or because she exists in a liminal space though.
Forging Bonds for Ancient Naga implies that at least Naga does keep her memories from FEH. FEH is kinda canon now to FE1 as the forging Bonds is the reason why Naga decided to put Tiki to sleep, she was asking around what to do for her and this was her conclusion
That I can agree to that level. There isn’t enough information nor idea how Askr affects Heroes beyond reviving them by us beside Emblem who basically are mortal compared to their Elyos rules. But we can say that Heroes that summon are just copy of their previous incarnation from their OC world where alive or dead so naturally they still remember what happen to their original memory but make new memories in Askr. It kind of a similar philosophy with Tales of the Rays
Like I don't think we can really say that an alt in a gacha game is a definitive ending for her character.
Now if this happened in 3 Houses itself? Yeah no question this would be a great ending for her story arc. But again, this is semi-canon material from a gacha game, not something that's acknowledged in the main canon.
I mean you can complete her story arc in Silver Snow by S-supporting her. She reflects on all she's done wrong, apologises for her actions and gives up on trying to revive Sothis after having a vision of her during her near-death experience, accepting having Byleth in her place. It'd have been better if they gave you a similar scene without requiring to give her the ring but at least it's not gender-locked. Maybe if they added like a Bridal Rhea to the game they could show that side of her.
It’s just really fucking stupid how this plot point is treated in 3H itself. I’d say there is no resolution to her character becaus three houses is an unfinished game with an unfinished story.
Personally it was the Sothis + Rhea alt I always wanted and hoped for down to the color and movement typing. I didn’t mind whichever led and was overjoyed when it was revealed.
Realizing I could only +10 her or Edel that banner I went for Rhea + Sothis with no regrets. (Demolished my orb savings)
As for the characters themselves, I always wanted Sothis to reunite with Rhea and give her closure or a fresh start.
I got that in FEH, and it’s another story thread that can be placed in the good / close enough to what I hoped category. Overall I’m happy with how they turned out.
Clearly the Halloween banner where the story refused to put her and Byleth/Sothis in the same room was the best end for her.
…it really annoys me how much the story skirts around how her plan is just a Manfroy/Validar gambit with a nicer dragon at the end. Rhea also never runs into Fallen Byleth (IE, in forging bonds), even though she’s what Rhea wanted.
A good end where she gets to meet Sothis properly feels weirdly unfitting when you remember what she was willing to do. Normally these stories end with the survivor accepting that their loved one is dead, or else dying while unable to accept it.
Rhea being a pos is the topic here and if I had to list every single fucked up FE unit every time I wanted to trash one specific one then this entire thread would be giant bricks of complaints
Why is every comment here ignoring the fact that Rhea clearly does not think the Sothis in front of her as the Progenitor God? She just thought it’s some child named after the Goddess.
If you read the lines for this duo unit you'd understand why everyone's commenting like this, Rhea calls this Sothis "mother", she acknowledges this child, despite her appearance and memory loss, is her mother.
She’s still got a lot of therapy to do, but I think this alt is probably the happiest we’ve seen her in all of her portrayals.

I'd say silver snow is a good end to her story arc for her actually but this was indeed a nice little bonus for fans. :)
I never did Silver Snow. People told me much of it was the same as Golden Deer in some cases. I think my biggest messup was failing to romance her.
Verdant Wind and Silver Snow have similar maps and pacing, but they end much differently. Honestly worth a play through for both.
Gameplay wise? Yes, absolutely. Silver Snow is just a watered down version of Verdant Wind. Story wise? Nowhere close.
Verdant Wind is a copy-paste of Silver Snow and not the other way around.
