It’s in the darkest black blotch on the counter, in the position oc shared. The screw itself is towards the top left, positioned at a 45 degree angle with the head of the screw pointing northwest. You can see a reflection off the screw as well as its shadow below it.
Just a pro tip for anyone that loses something tiny on a floor or table, shine the light parallel with the floor, not down on it. It will light up like a sun along with all the other dirt and crumbs you forgot to sweep up.
I have the same countertop, hate it. I lose bread clips 3,4 times a week. I just stare at it before I have to run my hand over it to find anything small
u/shitzo-_-, I think it's safe to change this one's difficulty level to "difficult". Most medium ones I see on this sub are relatively less hard to see. In this specific case, I didn't manage to find the screw at all. I know where it supposedly is, but even with my screen's brightness all the way up, if I look there, I literally don't see anything.
From what I can see..... it's one of two places. The first, the round light near bottom, if it were a clock follow the short arm as if it pointed at 2:00 1.5" dark area. The other spot it could be at is upper right, down an inch on the photo, and a cm in. (Based off pic on my phone)
I have the same damn countertops and lose things on them all the time!! I hate them. This does make me feel a bit better, though. I’ve been chastising myself about being incapable of keeping track of things on these counters for years. 😑
