I took an electronics class in highschool over a decade ago, and even with my very limited experience, it's easy to see that this person has been doing this for decades. It's astonishing how clean it looks
It's just tinning, not bonding. It'll be fully reflowed when the part is placed, and then it'll bond correctly. Or at least that's my understanding, but I'm not a professional. Just a home gamer with an iron.
Where’s it coming from? She uses it up to the end and then a new strand appears immediately. There’s no spool under her wrist or anything.
Curious since I don’t know anything about electronics, but, why would he be doing this? Assuming his job, and mass producing but what is it?

He makes it look so easy but this is α lot harder than it looks I promise

Tinning with no component to solder on is super simple....like first day soldering class.
From a country that doesn't produce anything anymore? I believe ya.
Off topic, but why is the a in "is α lot" different from the others?
I don’t know why this was done, but that letter α is a lower case Greek alpha.
It's a lot different than it looks
I made α shortcut in my phone to swap a for α
Why is the a that way
Your “a” looks weird
Tinning? No it isn't... 😂. Clearly you've never done it.
Isn't that a bit too fast? Those pads don't even warm up enough? 🤔

It's true...this is super easy

The spool is off the table, you can see the wire on the other side of her arm/hand.
Got it. I hadn’t watched full-screen.
Thx
She's totally a witch and the wire is absolutely not coming from under the desk
I KNEW it!
👹
No flux? Or maybe it was put on before the video started?
Probably flux core tin? Would surely invest in that if i had so many parts to do.
if i had to do this i would PAINT flux on it lol :P
Flux core solder
Flux core solder does not flow like that. I've used it many times.
Could have saved the HASL.

Not their first rodeo.
I don't even know where my left hand is.
This some surgery right there
Hate this technique always have some solder bridge
