Though i suppose if the omertas did their plan of gassing the strip when the second battle of Hoover dam started that could explain the state of the strip
I think you're over estimating the securitrons? A Lazer or 9mm against a deathclaw? Lore wise, not game wise, was made to be able to take small arms fire without flinching? Without Mr. Houses upgrades with the platinum chip, theyre great for stopping people, but not a biologically engineered death machine thats impervious to smaller bullets like the 9mm.

My guy its one deathclaw against the entire strip. Plus it also had to go through freeside first, deathclaws are powerfull yes but they can’t invade a settlement all on their own let alone one like the fucking strip
