• This is Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva during the Ottoman era.

  • Gasp. Love for the cat but also, having been to Mostar, this part of it in particular is SUCH a fairy tale. Sigh.

  • This is such a beautiful shot!

  • I love ancient kitty, and want to follow wherever they lead me!

  • I think I’ve met this cat. I was traveling ,but in a form other than the human body I use mostly for financial purposes. He greeted me without a word. He acknowledged the work I’d put into my travel getup.

He invited me to look into his eyes. I laughed. I envied. I cried. I saw endless history unfold deep inside his rememberings.

I padded away a different being. I understood why the world contains so many varying yet similar religions. I knew why one entity split its powers unequally among its followers/creations. It was arrogant and prideful and angry with its own self for being so ,so it bestowed upon others and then fled deep into the unknown where it still waits. Sometimes it weeps. Sometimes it laughs. But most of all it watches it’s children/imaginings interact in a less ethereal/more meat-based form.
