What are you talking about? They already had that professional grade Bear Pacifier Chairstack prepared nearby, and reached for it in blazing fast ~10 seconds, not even half of your face could be eaten within that time
in china its death is cheaper than injury; one of the scariest things is being hit by a car, you need to get out before the driver has a chance to finish the job
My dude, American workers don't even have basic rights.
You don't paid sick leave, you don't have paid maternity or paternity leave, you don't have paid vacation, you don't have public free healthcare or free college.
In any decent country all these things are guaranteed by law. US doesn't have any of that.
Millions of Americans work full time jobs and can't even afford a place to live, they have to live on vehicles.
Chinese workers live in a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better society than Americans do.
yeah it still amazes me that the venues putting on these shows don't have someone w/ a tranquilizer dart g()n on hand (yes I know it ain't immediate). Basics should be 1: two paramedics 2: Tranq g()n guy 3: ten fire extinguishers. I feel for the human performers and for the animals who are just doing their best to endure their prison lives.
is it not? I watched the whole thing thinking this was a joke act done by a person in a bear suit, but then I remembered China having those bears that people kept claiming were people in a bear suit a few years back.
idk it really looks like a man to me, the way he was trying to grip him and made him fall seems very unnatural. also , did they remove his teeth or something? instead of trying to beat him up like a person, he could just rip his belly open
It might be, but bears in real life genuinely have instinctive grappling skills and will often throw one another when fighting with moves that look very much like judo and wrestling.
Wdym?! Didn’t you see the lady lightly patting it down with a plastic chair? then she tried to distract it with “hey wanna shoot hoops?”
Or maybe you missed the guy massaging it with the stick? They even brought in a bird to tell him no.
When I was a stupid teenager on holiday in Thailand, I went to a wildlife park. I always remember a trainer raising his hand to threaten a large Asian Black Bear and the poor bear cowered, merely at the gesture. Although the animal appeared healthy, even as a daft teenager it dawned on me the level of abuse that bear must've been subjected to in order to react like that. Consequently, my sympathy for their trainers is minimal. These bears have no problem killing humans when they feel like it so the trainer should just be grateful it didn't crush his skull.
“one appeared to be wielding a basketball hoop and backboard, trying to push the bear away, while another had a stack of stools. Another employee also hit the bear with a large bamboo stick, while one man even tried to pull the bear off with one hand while holding a parrot in the other.”
Yeah they sell it for Asian (Chinese at least) medicine. And they harvest it as described. It's a thing. An ugly, useless thing, torturing sun bears for a buck.
The audience had no situational awareness. Let’s press against this light rail to watch the action when the bear could charge any direction at any time…
Boy, sure glad his colleagues came to his rescue so quickly. Tell you right now, once he’s back from the hospital and chooses to still work with the bears, those colleagues may want to be gone and looking for new work before he gets there.
A hunter comes across a bear and takes his shot but misses. The bear says to him, "Bad choice mate", and the bear proceeds to violate the hunter. The next day the hunter is back and misses again and is violated again. On the third day, the hunter misses yet again and the bear says, "You're not really out here to hunt are you?"
Did that guy have an awful lot of random stuff in his pockets? Or is that pieces of his clothes being ripped off? I know that’s the Least worrying thing happening in this video, but I’m so confused by it.
Go to China, South East Asia, etc and you'll realise that this is a relatively organised set up. Ridiculously risky shit with deadly animals and no protection is a common occurance. Unfortunately I saw a number of Asian Black Bears (larger the one in the video) being exploited in Thailand. The crocodile shows are something else, it involves harassing and pissing off 3 metre plus crocodiles for an extended period before sticking their heads in the crocs mouths. Chimp and Orangutan shows are common, as are tiger shows (when they're clearly not sedated). Elephant shows are 10 a penny. Unfortunately, it's the norm there. No animal rights and the life of the trainers is also cheap. Fatal incidents occur relatively often but they're often swept under the carpet. It's only when tourists are attacked/killed that it makes the news. I saw the article below early this year because it involved a Spanish tourist. The article states there's approximately 3000 elephants kept in tourist attractions in Thailand alone. That's a disgrace.
Seems they have a solid, workable, effective plan for such an eventuality.
Consummate professionals.
Literally my first thought. They have absolutely no training on what to do when faced with such a situation
What are you talking about? They already had that professional grade Bear Pacifier Chairstack prepared nearby, and reached for it in blazing fast ~10 seconds, not even half of your face could be eaten within that time
Also a parrot was on scene
And a basketball hoop/backboard ensemble
So the fuck you in particular comes from the guy who runs the attraction.
The bear is just doing bear stuff.
Animals don't do politics (with a small p)
It's China... its cheaper to.replace people.
in china its death is cheaper than injury; one of the scariest things is being hit by a car, you need to get out before the driver has a chance to finish the job
I love how people, when bashing China, end up describing the US.
Lawsuits alone keep this from even being a brief thought in the US.
I love how people who lack critical thinking skills think they have something to add to a conversation.
Lawsuits?

Bot
Exactly what I was thinking. There was zero contingency planning here for what seems like the most obvious contingency.
The sticktapper was almost encouraging it.
Guy 1: OK, so I'm gonna rub the bear with a detached basketball hoop.
Guy 2: Good call. While you do that, I'll gently tap it on the back with this comically oversized stick.
Guy 3: Is there any way we can work my parrot into this whole situation? I feel like parrot is a real game-changer here.
Guy who isn’t afraid to carry a giant bird also walked over and seemed to grab the bear. Maybe it was the magic answer.
When the guy came back with a mini basketball goal I realized they dont have any specialized equipment at all.
And he goes back for more.
Where you going, pussy??? I didn't hear no bell!
In case of bear attack, gently tap the bear with a long stick...
Was incredibly lucky. I watched a documentary where some of the pandas in China know Kung Fu.
1st though: ok, where are the tranquilizers?
Tranquilizers take time. They need some combination of a hose, pepper spray, a Taser, and a snare.
If all else fails, a gun
Black market

The kid in the bear suit finally had enough

Edit: 1:30 of this video for an example.
Even putting their foot/leg behind one's ankle like he did here ? Pretty wild
Yep, watch from 1:30 of this to see an example. Not a foot sweep exactly, but very much what you might see in judo.
Thank you. That was painful to watch. Did the smaller bear win , too?
Sun bears just really look like they're in a fur suit
Bear has great grappling. That trainer must be so pissed with his colleagues just standing there doing fuck all. Hope the bear is ok...
Wdym?! Didn’t you see the lady lightly patting it down with a plastic chair? then she tried to distract it with “hey wanna shoot hoops?” Or maybe you missed the guy massaging it with the stick? They even brought in a bird to tell him no.
The bear is 100% cool.
It also has a great understanding of grappling.
D1 grappling for sure

Yeah, the bear had its reasons and also showed mercy.
Definitely I was very confused when the dude just got up after they got him free the first time the bear was playing with him
Not mercy, bear is probably declawed and defanged :(
I'd wager it still would have enough strength to do damage
I went to Thailand with a girlfriend years ago and yeah that shit was awful. Tigers doped up to their eyeballs, drooling etc.
Fucking horrible
What's with the helper armed with a bird? You don't take a bird to a bear fight.
At first I thought he was going to offer the bird as a sacrifice. The bird was like get me TF out of here!
I was half expecting that bear to pull off an ankle lock
Lol.
Transitions into an Americana.
This is why you should train in grappling, otherwise the bears will get you...
It was obviously going for the bear hug
Poor bear
Fucking sad to see animal abuse like this in 2025.
“one appeared to be wielding a basketball hoop and backboard, trying to push the bear away, while another had a stack of stools. Another employee also hit the bear with a large bamboo stick, while one man even tried to pull the bear off with one hand while holding a parrot in the other.”
ECW! ECW!
When the person with the bird came over I thought wtf is the bird gonna do?
I'd say fuck every human there including the audience for supporting it.
They torture sun bears to get gall out of them. Cutting open the gland and keeping it open for optimal access. That bear is out for vengeance.
what?
Yeah they sell it for Asian (Chinese at least) medicine. And they harvest it as described. It's a thing. An ugly, useless thing, torturing sun bears for a buck.
Wow, such efficient and whole hearted efforts by the staff to save their colleague.
That bear must be from Dagestan @1:03
Executed a great takedown kept side control for a majority of it after then went towards back control all while traping an arm
All i see.. amazing takedown
That bear was just playing around roughly, if that was an actual bear attack that trainer would be very dead.
Also very good attempted back take by the bear
...that "bear" sweeps the leg 2x as well as a leg grab with his legs. Seems to have a lot of hip mobility for a "bear"
I hope he bit that guy right in the gallbladder
Sweep the leg, Johnny!
Brother goes for a double leg and a trip then jumps on side control.
That bear knows Jitsoo.
Poor bear.
That guy wasnt winning the fight but he certainly wasn't getting outright beaten
The way that bear worked him to the ground. It has some judo moves
The audience had no situational awareness. Let’s press against this light rail to watch the action when the bear could charge any direction at any time…
I mean let's be honest that poor bears likely had all its teeth pulled out and declawed.
Then I hope he took something from the abuser too
Good. Fuck China, fuck the CCP.
They should add this feature to the Pokémon series, random attacks to the trainer instead of attacking the other Pokémon
These bears are the lucky ones, at least they aren't being used for gal harvesting.
That bear doing some MMA shit.
Nah seriously I thought it was a human lmaooo
We have to talk about the bird. Someone thought that what the mauling needed was a flipping bird.
“Get the parrot, get the parrot now goddamit!!”
Deserved
Why are they wearing Star Trek uniforms?
Nice takedown for the bear, that trip was smooth.
Boy, sure glad his colleagues came to his rescue so quickly. Tell you right now, once he’s back from the hospital and chooses to still work with the bears, those colleagues may want to be gone and looking for new work before he gets there.
Nah, for all I care that asshole could cuddle with that bear for the rest of his life.
Bro you can say fuck on r/fuckyouinparticular
Is a tranquilizer gun that hard to obtain?
The bear was all “Do a barrel roll!”
Not the basketball hoop 💀
Bearambe 🥺
Would be a lot bloodier if this was Russia
Comeuppance is such a poetic word.
Not a single tool nearby, It's almost like no one thought this would ever happen.
Trainer needs to work on his Jiu Jitz. The bear just wanted to roll.
Teaching bears judo is a bad idea. That one clearly does a throw on the guy.
They legit came out to poke a bear.
The most surreal part is they’re all dressed like Captain Kirk.
Would a red shirt be more appropriate?
Well... sometimes you eat the bear. And sometimes the bear... he eats you.
Solid moves that bear
A hunter comes across a bear and takes his shot but misses. The bear says to him, "Bad choice mate", and the bear proceeds to violate the hunter. The next day the hunter is back and misses again and is violated again. On the third day, the hunter misses yet again and the bear says, "You're not really out here to hunt are you?"
Wouldn’t you have like tranquilizers and stuff available in this kind of environment?
Why did i immediately think of Gary Larsen?
mans ground game is trash and what the fuck sprawl was that?? give it up for the bear on the leg sweep though. that was art
The person hitting the bear with the stool like that's going to do anything.
Even if the bear felt that (it didn't) now you've got to run from a bear.
great tackle.
default trick i did to get my little brother on the ground
That bear is just gonna be hungry again in an hour.
When I see this video I always wonder who thought of using a basketball hoop to tame the bears.
good lmao
Two reactions in this thread:
Fuck these people for abusing animals, wish the bear had done more
Why aren't the people better at abusing animals? They should have more severe weapons of torment!
“KILL HIM, KILL HIIIIIIM!!!”
Parrot.
“Let’s move this problem backstage, come here please”
Looks like one of those stupid games like Fall Guys when they started using random shit to separate the bear from the trainer
Sun bears are just guys in bear suits. Prove me wrong!
Good
Did that guy have an awful lot of random stuff in his pockets? Or is that pieces of his clothes being ripped off? I know that’s the Least worrying thing happening in this video, but I’m so confused by it.
I hope that shitstain lost something important permanently, because I feel like that bear was probably killed after this.
No one has a stun rod for emergencies? I’d rather get tazed than eaten by the bear!
NO DQ!? SOMEONES GOING TO GET HURT IN THESE RECKLESS TOURNAMENTS!
i really wanted the falcon to start attacking someone too
Then suddenly, China created a 2nd ammendment
The bird provided more help than those people did. They were absolutely clueless what the hell.
That seems like a person in a bear costume ngl
Cool tackle
the one with the parrot
Who brings a bird to a bear fight???
Trainer was mauled by a bear, but no blood. -???
Chang, hit him with the basketball hoop!
Tap it gently, that will work.
He went back for seconds ???
Luckily they all remembered their safety training and after 32 minutes of massage the bear fell asleep and the trainer was freed.
Feed him the damn bird bro!!
Dude was basically on his own out there. Not that I feel much sympathy for people who make money exploiting animals.
That outside leg trip was majestic
Did he to back in after they freed him?
Have they never even casually thought of what to do if the large wild animal ever acts like a large wild animal?
dude, that ain't a real bear is it ? it looked like a human in disguise, the way he made that guy roll over was hilarious
He’s like “ fuck that… gimme some more!”
All things considering, they did quiet well. Could have been much worse.
Fuck the stupid audience too.
Put that little bear in a choke hold
Send the trainer to Dagestan 2-3 years and forget
That’s a basketball hoop, right?
They're just playing
Yeah, I’m gonna teach that bear a lesson now.
Dude got attacked, then squared up to go again?
Yes, hitting it with a plastic stool surely helps.... I'm sure the man being gnawed appreciates your efforts. 😂 🐻 🩸💀 ✨
Fck these 'trainers' Fck the audience.
Nah that’s someone’s kid that ain’t even a bear fuck outta here
Nice single leg sweep.
Never went for the neck?
Seems like that bear has good take down skills.
Good
Why did he just go back to the bear after it was off of him
Clean take down
The trainer is thinking, " Maybe training the bear in BJJ was a bad idea?"
Also a fucking basketball hoop!? 🤣
THIS IS FAKE!!! BEARS DON'T USE A TRIP TO TAKE "TRAINERS" DOWN
Maybe blow on the bear, get a whistle, turn the lights on and off!? Lol- Classic China.
I don't see any blood, the bear seems to just be wrestling, which is probably why they didn't take any drastic measures.
Bear is angry he was left in Dagestan and forgotten about
Makes me think of Seaworld
The bears grip for the single leg takedown is kinda high but it worked. Send him 2-3 years Dagestan and forget
Bear straight judo swept that dude.
Also, they don't plan for this? No pepper/bear spray?
Sloth bears are evil incarnate.
À JJ Bear ???
Wheres khabib when u need him
Good sprawl by the second guy to get in there. Also credit to the guy with the giant bird on his arm trying to get in the mix
Fucking amateur. Had the arm bar wide open from side control
Is that really a bear? Wtf it started the attack with an ouchi gari.
If you want your trainer high level grappling, send him 2-3 year Dagestan and forget. In 6 months, 1 time - you can call.
"bear"
This is a weird video. Everything about it is weird. I don’t think it’s real. I think it’s a honestly.
Why no protective equipment. Tazer or bear spray.

In China? Lol
