I made this beat recently and wanted to get some genuine reviews.
The criticism on my last post actually pushed me to go through more tutorials and learn properly, so I really appreciate blunt feedback.
For this one, I didn’t design the drum pattern myself it’s from Looperman. I’m intentionally focusing more on chords, harmony, and progression first before fully jumping into drum programming.
Please feel free to be critical. I genuinely like criticism it helps me improve and reach somewhere instead of staying stuck.
Thanks for listening 🤍

Welcome to Feedback Friday. If your video isn't a screen recording of your playlist window with your full track (not just a waveform of your track) from your project, it will be removed so please delete this post and make a new post with your playlist window. If you find your track's audio quality is noticeably decreased using Reddit's video player, you are welcome to upload your video to YouTube. We just ask that you follow the previously stated rules.

Not sure if I saw your last post but this sounds okay I think especially for the first half. There are only two things that stand out to me, firstly there are some rhythm issues going like the hats and drums are off beat in places, I think the hat loop has something going on at the end. Secondly the bass and organ aren't playing in the same key with each other around bar 29. Not sure which one needs adjusting, or both but worth looking at. Sometimes saturation on an 808 / bass can change the pitch slightly (makes it sharper I believe due to adding upper harmonics), so that may have something to do with it. Not bad though especially for starting out, keep at it and you'll get better with every project.
