50 hours deep into my latest campaign, level 102, I decided it was time to try to kill omega for the first time (I've played for years but I never beat him because I found him scary 😔) for context, I'm pretty far with the story, already finished Ezma quest and brought all the talents to ten. Anyway, my last fight with him which took around an hour just finished, it was my fourth try today and I finally managed to kill the ancient magitek, I go to the inventory to put on the rare metal and then... The game crashes. I log on instantly just to realize the last save was the one before the fight with that monster, I closed the game. I should've just went to sleep tonight instead of doing all this. Somebody knows if I can do something about it? I'm on PS5. Thanks a lot, I'll go cry in the meanwhile
Losing an hour absolutely sucks but go back to this subreddit when the game first came out and console yourself by reading all the posts of people crashing the Regalia after spending 4+ hours in Pitioss Ruins without saving :’D
I can't even imagine how bad that'd be 😠luckily I saved as soon as I got out

That fight took me like 8-10 min after my 3rd go. First 2 tries I got instakilled
Yeah, after I defeat it again today I watched some videos of how to do it, I just like to go in blind without stats or anything, I felt pretty dumb after I watched those videosðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
I rarely follow or even watch combat videos. I beat Omega once. It took me like 45 minutes give or take and it cost me a lot of Megalixirs and Mega Phoenixes.
Oh you hate the game? I did the pitioss dungeon and spent hours getting through that mess. After falling off a ledge for the umpteenth time it suddenly spawned me at the beginning of the dungeon. I had no clue how to find my way back to the closest shortcut and had to do the entire latter half of the dungeon, again. And finally I reached the end and got the black hood. Turns out I fell off the last little plank in the entire dungeon that takes you to the end. Then I go outside, hop in the regalia and had to little runway to take off so I crashed into the wall and got a game over. If you think the game had auto saved after clearing the dungeon you're wrong. This is of course my own fault for not saving manually. But that is what I will remember from FFXV on my death bed.

Focus on buffing your Magic with weapons/accessories/meals, then craft several high potency limit break Thunder magic (Electon) and watch Omega be obliterated within a minute~ (Took me about 3-4 casts of Electon to kill the thing)
Feel you, mine was like a 2 hour attempt with careful play so I didn't run out of revives can't remember his hp bar, but I estimated that I needed 1 hour more.....
Your experience is literally the reason why I quit playing FFXV on release day on my PS4. Losing hours of play to a crash was a low blow.
Yeah it's crazy but considering how old of a game it is it doesn't have too many bugs, I'll just get to playing when I get home
I own this game for like 3 years, never heard about Omega… but that’s such a FFXV thing, on my third play through I stepped onto something and was in this whole other world of that collaboration-thing that they made with FFIX. I was perplexed.Â
