mmm for olde english they very well used Lycanthrope for gender nuetral. however across all pages of this there is no indicatiom wer even meant man. no definitive paper etymology outline tbh. noones agreed upon this. kinda just displays the same as lycanthrope. such a beast that can transform into a wolf where as wif and wer kinda just mean "this human" but in genitive forms.
noone has every decided werewolf isnt gender nuetral bc just like vam and vampire there isnt an agreed upon root word after wer or vam in olde english or serbian/turk. the best idea i can give you is that it meant
"this human"
"this is wolf"
Warehouse is not the most common word in the english dictionary, not knowing this term or just simply don't remembering it doesn't make you illiterate.
Functionally illiterate means you aren't truly illiterate, it means you can read and write but not at a level to properly interpret or interact in work, schooling or community.
The side entrance and many boxes made me think warehouse. And as I said in another reply functionally illiterate doesn't mean actually illiterate, it just means doesn't understand enough to fully get it.
Terrible joke but that twitter account is absolutely gold with some legendary dad jokes. I used to borrow them from that account and put them in my kids lunches everyday.
OP (BulletInTheHead21) sent the following text as an explanation why they posted this here:
It's a warehouse, joke on werewolves who transform under the full moon
I use this joke EVERY month. My kids HATE it! “Oh, no, it’s a full moon, watch out for werehouses!”
It's a shite joke to be fair
That’s never stopped me before
Nor should it.

A gazebo perhaps?
Is the Gazebo... evil?

This is a werehouse in the day
Doesn’t this mean wolves become werewolves?
“Don’t let the truth get in the way of a mediocre joke.”
Yeah that's clever. Comedy has indeed peaked here
I feel so stupid for not understanding this
Warehouse
"Were" house lol
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warehouse

Fun fact.
Okay, not particularly fun.
Were- original meant "male", so werewolf would imply someone who was male who could shapeshift into a wolf form.
Whereas a normal male was a wereman and a normal female a wifman. Eventually wereman just became "man" and wifman became "wife".
So a female werewolf should be a "wifwolf"?
I guess. It sounds funny so it has that going for it.

I swear half the questions here come from people who are functionally illiterate
Or for people whose english is their second language
Yes and?

Rude. I went “house. Moon. House. Garage” And got nowhere 😂
The side entrance and many boxes made me think warehouse. And as I said in another reply functionally illiterate doesn't mean actually illiterate, it just means doesn't understand enough to fully get it.
Doesn’t mean you’re not rude 🤷🏽♀️
is this loss
no lmao
It's a werehouse
The house turned into a warehouse under the full moon. It’s a pun based on werewolves.
It's a werehouse. Under a full moon, the house turns into a werehouse.
It doesn't really work, because werewolves aren't wolves the rest of the time; they're humans.
I told the nurse I got bitten by a wolf.
"Where?" she asked.
"No," I said, "just regular."
Is it my turn to post this tomorrow?
Once a month my friend Greg has to go into an empty lot so he can turn into a werehouse and gobble up confused inspectors.
House + Full Moon = Warehouse. But it doesn't make sense because a wolf doesn't turn into a warewolf, a human does.
House of leaves reference?
Is the moon big?
House turned into a warehouse
Turn to page three hundred and ninety four.
This one made me snort a little not going to lie

Lunatics go manic during a full moon, including online shopping.
