I posted a couple of days ago about a big dip in supply due to illness. This evening I did a powerpump abd inly got 60ml, 10ml was from my left side. I thought this is getting silly so I grabbed my haaka and tried some hand expressing into it without suction to see if I was empty (I know we're never truly empty but more like how difficult it was to express).
I managed to get 30ml in about 5 to 10 minutes of hand expressing from my left side and another 10ml from my right side. Which doesnt sound like huge amounts but I only got 60ml total from my hour long powerpump!
So my question is could hand expressing after pumping help bring up supply?

I have been using a hand pump after pumping mechanically and it helped me increase my supply. At least I believe that was a part of it. Another part was cluster pumping and sleep
I haven't had a go with a proper handpump, I have a super cheap unbranded one that I dont think actually works lol. But this was literally me using my hands 😅 what hand pump would you recommend?
