They're not all as they are hyped to be. Unless you are blessed with oversupply. Portables eventually hurt supply or cause clogs. We all eventually come back to the wall pumps. Can't expect a handheld vac to do the job of a shop vac
My bad I misunderstood your statement. And I feel you. I had the pink spectra my first kid. Hated taking it back and forth to work so I got the genie pumpables. Pretty neat but kind of loud once you go past 5. I decided to try the motif Luna with 2nd baby bc of the portable battery. And so glad I did.
Portables & wearbles are different. Portables have tubing & the motor not attached to the cups. Wearbles have the motor built right into the cups. A portable pump like Babybuddha is just fine if not better to use as a primary pump. Id even say some wearbles are sufficient because it allows mom to pump more often than they would with just a wall pump- which is key to adequate milk supply. Whereas a wall pump, a mom might struggle finding the time to sit down to pump

I never thought of this during my first EP journey with my spectra but with my second I did this with the baby buddha, and it was easy since it’s so much smaller! I bought a cell phone clip and clipped it to my bra while pumping.
Thats nice. I dont know, I tried doing it too but then was scared because I asked Chatgpt and it said that doing it in bathroom can be unhygienic as well as moisture can seep in. I don’t know how true it is , I stopped after that.
I was doing this until I finally sprung for the Pump a Porter bag from Idaho Jones, and I'm never going back hahaha. If you can afford it, 1000/10 recommend ⭐

There's a way to "hack" it into a portable with a battery! I followed a YouTube video and its been a total lifesaver

I have portables but you have to wear the exact right bra and it takes me about 25-30 mins to empty when my spectra can do it in 15-20 max

I got mine off a pump resale group on Facebook for $40 with shipping!
I used an old tool belt and a hardhat clip, works greatish except it likes to thwack around if I turn too fast. This seems more stable

Yep. I tied wide yarn around the handle and walk around like that. Did it around 3m pp and never looked back
