Today I tried a LOT less DT (10ml), used the syringe containing the DT to open the fountain (suggested by u/Silcrow_) and made the fountain in a discarded vessel (inspired by u/Possible_Rain_8472 and u/217Quetzalcoatl237) and actually got something! The result is shown in the photo, as you can see it actually formed some stuff but it seems like I used too small of an amount of DT because when i made it, it formed stone like a titan but was only able to crack open a bit which resulted in what is practically a broken statue with some darkness visible.

It's height is around 1.2 metres and weighs about 1602 kg (because it's stone probably)

  • Hope this is successful soon and we get an epic titan friend.

I mean, Titans have Bo emotions, and they just kill at random so it COULD take us out. Not saying that we shouldn't keep a Titan as a pet, I'm just stating some consequences

  • Good progress so far, I can suggest giving a vessel a piece of a broken soul. I've found one in garbage can. Man, I wonder how it got there.

  • Can it scream?

It has no mouth and it must scream

I wanna hear it scream when I seal it though

Are you sure you're a GOOD fountain sealer? Also it's not sentient yet so even if it could, it wouldn't

Im from hallownest its like Detroit TELL ME WHEN IT CAN FEEL PAIN

Nah those dudes too extreme for me and im not into evil anymore just instincts from when I lived in hallownest

i own evil fountain sealers and i think sealing the grand fountain is just a bit too far

No i want to seal sentient fountains

  • That is an immensely high density for something made of stone. I... I'm honestly impressed. I'm pretty sure that would be more dense than pure lead, assuming a perfect cone with a diameter of ~0.6m

Out of character, I just looked up how heavy a cubic metre of stone was and used that

Now that I'm looking at it again, that's probably more cylindrical than anything. But average density varies with the type of stone.

  • This might be way harder than expected, as this is a much more different case than giving sentience to a flower. Let me explain:

In Dr. Alphys' entries, she describes creating Flowey as "giving something that's not alive the will to live", but that's simply very far from the truth, as flowers ARE alive, she just gave one sentience.

Titans however, are a different case. Ralsei describes them as "having no consciousness", which by itself seems like a perfect blank canvas to work on, but there's an issue. Or better, issues. Titans are like robots, constructed of pure shadow and programmed to kill and destroy, they are "alive", and yet they are not.

Plants, although very different from Humans and Monsters, share two similarities with them: They are alive, and they are all made of the same basic things. They are all formed by the same basic substances and quemicals, and that even applies to the Monsters in Undertale, even though they are mostly made of Magic.

Titans, do not share these similarities with them, at least not in the same way. We do not truly know how Determination affects them. From what we've seen so far, the affects seem to be similar, but for how long will it stay like that? How much time will it take for something like the Amalgamates to created in a much larger scale?

How do we know if WE, and you heard that right, WE are safe?

  • Would that not just be a titan?

Titans are hardly sentient, they act on instincts and all they do is destroyed, and also I'm aiming for something more friendly to make the fountain sealers feel bad for sealing fountains

  • Why does it kinda look like sweet bro and Hella jeff

  • isnt a titan technically a sentient fountain?

we seal alot of those guys
