But that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread. You didn't craft with the wrong folder, you just apparently are regretting running the craft at all?
Also the craft that you used them for is profitable... I think you might be confused about something.
What really needs to be fixed is when crafting grenade or mag cases, your full fuel ranks should never be auto-checked if you have empties. Too many times I’ve been quickly clicking through crafts only to realize I stupidly used full cans after it was too late.
I don’t doubt it not working for you but what I am saying is that there has to be an option you ticked off or something similar because it does work like this and has been since at least 1.0 release (I took a break before that so can’t attest for it).
It should prioritise non FIR items and if it doesn’t for you, maybe check the settings or the interface when it shows which ressource it is going to use. Maybe there is a box to tick somewhere.
I'm a 200 hour player, and I haven't tweaked any of the default settings beyond keybinds, so unless it's the default and everyone in this thread has turned it off...
Did you have the items in the stash available? Or on the PMC or in the hideout on a mannequin? If the game can’t see them it would choose first available regardless of FIR.
Other option is to use the Lock function to prevent this
I thought it did? I’ve been doing wire crafts for a while and I’ve had 2 FIR cables and 2 purchased and it always auto selects the purchased ones
I thought the same, I’ve never had a problem with it picking FIR over bought items
literally does this whenever i’m crafting so not sure why yours doesn’t
If it makes you feel any better I double clicked my first FIR moonshine in stash this go around
You can disable the double click to use items when you are in the hideout.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know
Yeah I have it set to only use double click in raid
Yes me too
I accidentally drank a moonshine in raid once
I drink moonshine on purpose
You're welcome, my friend
What did you do... Personally I accidentally used fir Intel folders
That seems fine. Once you can use those for a craft, you don't need any more found in raid.
I need them for Intel 3
Not FiR though
Still half a mil

I... Uh... ZVEDA! Scampers off
As far as I know, it does.

make it also default to the lowest condition item.
annoyed unselecting full fuel cans and selecting the empties when crafting containers
Yeah this is the one I'm surprised it doesn't already do by default
It does now
It doesn't as of the time of posting this several hours ago
Yes it does. If you have only FIR items and use the autobuy feature, it's not gonna buy the items you already have and will use the FIR ones.
This. 100% user error
It has been the case for a long time…
It does select non FIR first so it’s 100% user issue.
Don't know what to tell you - it doesn't. Will take a video when I get home.

It already does, it's been like this for years now lol
oops
