I have played this game since 2018 loving every bit of it. This whole time I’ve been on a 980ti and a i7 930 with 32g ddr3. Two nights ago I was playing arena to finish up greater heights part 3 and missed me second chance for top 3 in checkpoint because everyone was running lmg and the amount of bullets was tanking my fps.
So I logged off and rage bought a 5060. I’ve had a m4 mobo with a ryzen 5600x and 32g of ddr4 that I bought off a dude a month ago for $200 sitting around.
Let me tell you, I have now graduated to chad and it’s been an entirely hardware issue. My amount of pmc kills has skyrocketed over the last two nights and it’s so nice to feel that I just haven’t been bad these last few years I’ve just been running dogshit
I know no one cares but I just had a religious experience and am so pumped to finally run streets

Min recommended is 14700k 4070 rtx and 64gb ram with an ssd
Short 32gb of ram and 5600x is much slower than 14700k

I recently went from an 8700k to an x3d and I feel like I’m playing a completely different game but I bet your upgrade felt even crazier because that was some old ass hardware you were running haha
I went from 1080ti / i5 6600k 32gb ddr4 to 5090/9800x3d 64 gb ddr5.
Game enjoyment went through the roof.
It’s a good feeling to actually be able to enjoy the game.
Im in the same boat came off a 2070s and 9700k to a 5070 with a 9800x3d and 32GB of ram. It felt like opening my eyes for the first time lmaoo
Maybe I need to rage buy an upgraded CPU too haha. I’m thinking this is part of my problem. I can frag on Arena and the movement feels fast but in Tarkov main, I feel so slow and lose almost every duel. Definitely my fault a lot but I feel I could be winning more 1v1s if I had a better setup.
