Seems like a pretty valid crashout to me. Charging $40 on top of a subscription fee for a movie, and having literal shows as long as the credits is insane.
I dunno, when I'm in the house with someone binging a sitcom and I have to hear the theme song twice every 22 minutes as the end credits play and then the intro credits repeat the songs for the next episode, I start to lose my mind and I am an adult. Frasier has had me on the brink of madness, the outro is not instrumental.
Yeah I agree that it’s fine to not like Disney plus, and it’s fine to not like the show. But this is on IMDb I think they should review the show itself, but the complaints about the streaming service has nothing to do with the writing and production of the show because it was produced to air in between episodes on the Disney channel
This from 2020, which is when the live action Mulan movie came out. You’d pay $40 to receive recent movies early on D+, like maybe a month early or something. If you just wait a little longer it does get released to all subscriptions, Karen just clearly has an impatience issue that it sounds like she’s passing to her kids
I've been a woman for all of my 45 years. I have no idea what kind of problem solving feminine problem solving is. Or at least, not problem solving that would relate to a toddler or preschooler. Please someone help me out and explain it to me like I'm 5.
Might be device-specific, but this isn't an option on mine. You literally have to FF or exit to the selection screen and choose the next one. Disney by far has the worst, buggiest UI of any streaming service I've used
there was a puppet show that mentioned grandpas that made my brother cry so my mom outright banned it. if they cry, don't show it to them??? i thought kids could handle shorts these days. god forbid we have credits rolling for all the work that goes into them. in LA, we all sat through the credits. partly because someone you knew might be in there, but mostly because it was polite???
$40 for mulan on top of the subscription is a crime, though. fuck that.
Not to defend our corporate overlords, but this review was written just after the live action movie came out, during the pandemic so they weren't getting much box office revenue. End of the day, they're still a company trying to make money.
I don't remember it being $40 though. I think it was closer to $20, but prices were probably regional...

It isn’t a show. They’re shorts that were played in-between shows.
And her kid throwing a tantrum when the show ends, if kid doesn’t have other issues, says a lot of Karen’s parenting.

you would have hated the 90's, when that was the whole experience and you actually looked forward to the episode and attached rituals each week.

Hey mods could I possibly get 🎀🐭 minimal feminine problem solving 🐭🎀 as a flair option?

"Basic themes like... friendship and minimal feminine problem solving"?
If someone was to help me out with understanding that, would that be minimal or maximal help?
Who the heck fast-forwards through end credits rather than hitting the back button and going to the next episode?

the disney plus credits are pretty annoying tbh, I dont care who played who in the norwegian dub lol
She's right

Must be because it was $40 where I lived. And yeah if you just waited like a month then you could see it with your normal subscription
