I've only played for 5 hours but I feel like the galling gull spawns absurdly often on floor one, like I've only seen the trigger twins once or twice and I didn't even know the bullet king existed until I looked up floor one bosses for this post, do they start spawning more often later or have I just had some absurd rng that has led to me basically only ever seeing galling gull?

Ngl this is the first time I’ve heard of there being other bosses I thought Gatling gull was floor one and the ammo snake thing was always floor 2

Theres 3 different bosses per floor except for floor 5 and the secret floors

Nah, I'm pretty sure there is separate chances. For example, I almost never see the mineflayer. Like maybe once in 15 runs. Usually it's the skull or tank. Same for floor 4, I almost never see the high priest, but commonly see the pillars and uncommonly the wall. Idk what it is, but it definitely feels like the odds are not evenly split.

I'm not sure really but for me, I started 4 different saves and on all of them gatling gun appeared as the first boss everytime, maybe just to smooth out the difficulty since he's certainly the easiest boss out of chamber 1. Just sharing my experience though, its more likely than not just a coincidence but who knows.
Not that any of the chamber one bosses are hard, but gattling gull is the… least easy.
Yeah as like a veteran player depending on the level he appears in he has the best chance of landing a hit on me. That double water moat level or whatever you call it. But the levels where you can get behind the corners on him are easy mode.
Water moat can be tricky but if you can get him to land on one of the sides it's almost as easy as the room with the corner pillars
Was gonna say this but I 100% agree. He’s got the least predictable attacks out of chamber 1
Depends on the room he spawns in. If he’s in that room with the little river things, he’s annoying as hell. The normal library room is extremely easy though.
Yes, but the king is still by far the easiest in my subjective opinion
It's funny, I'd say it's the exact opposite. Bullet king is the pretty much only one who occasionally prevents a master round for me at this point

Keep of the lead lord: Gatling Gull, Trigger Twins, Bullet King or Door mimic (small chance)
Gungeon Proper: The Gorgun, Beholster, Ammoconda or Door mimic (small chance)
Blackpowder mine: Mineflayer, Cannonbalrog, Treadnaught or Door mimic (small chance)
The Hollow: Wallmonger, Kill Pillars, High Priest or Door mimic (small chance)
All bosses have a 1/3 chance of spawning for their respective floor (with the secret boss having like a ~1% chance to replace any of them once per run).
So there are lots of bosses, but all the main floors except the 5th have random distribution of them, and choosing from a sample size of 3 makes it not that improbable to get the same boss for multiple runs.

I feel like hes too hard to be a 1st floor boss, skill issue probably but I find him as difficult as 3rd floors
Interesting, im always happy to see him because I find him the easiest by far. Bullet king is my hardest for sure
Idk why tho but the same happens for me too. For about 2 days ig, every time i played most of the floor one boss was galling gull.
