I started this rainbow clone run to kill the advanced dragon for the first time. I took the super hot watch as my first item and built on bullets from then on until I got the first clone. It’s been a challenge keeping this going bc you have to get rid of shit in your inventory or it will crash the game but as long as you keep most of your s tier items and go to all the extra levels you are almost always guaranteed another clone. I got the extra dragons bc they work like the stones but at this point I one hit everything with any gun
By the end of my most busted run i 2-shot the Ammoconda with the camera. This game gets SILLY.
I’m a (36m) father of 3 and I work full time an hr commute to and from work so I get max 1hr to 30min to play a day and maybe 2 hrs on weekends but I’ve collected so much trash and I save and quit before each level I could drop everything and keep this going with the robots starter pistol right now. I one shot everything. This is the longest rainbow robot clone run I’ve had and it’s getting kind of boring but I’m stacking those hedgemony credits for when I try to unlock gunslinger

In my most busted run I could 1-hit anything with anything, even with the shitty pilot starter gun. Most of my time would be spent running around or waiting for enemies to spawn in and it got boring.

Where does the Robot fit in? I’ve done plenty of Rainbow Runs but hardly ever get Clone
If you want to basically guarantee it then just keep restarting until you get the clone on floor 1, then just take all s tier items every chest after that. Robot gets a damage bonus for collecting junk and on a rainbow run you don’t get anything from the regular chests so shoot them and collect the junk
EDIT to answer my own question below: the S tier items are drawn from a pool, and taking those items removes them from the pool, making it more likely to get a Clone

Exactly. And the game is more likely to give you what you don’t have rather than a duplicate so if you have most of the s tier items then the clone becomes more and more likely to spawn

How do clone runs work? Is it possible to do on account with all S items unlocked, should I play rainbow run?
I do rainbow mode with robot to maximize in junk. Take every s tier item you get and always clone. I usually quick restart until I get hot shot watch bc that makes floor 1/oub/2 pretty easy with the robots starter pistol. Do every bonus level and just keep killing yourself on floor 6. You have to make sure to balance your items or it will kill the game if you have to much

Most impressive broken run I've seen in a WHILE on this subreddit, not an every day find for sure haha. Can I just ask, how did you keep all the little draguns without activating the advanced dragun and loosing them? I've never seen anyone doing it, but I have to say it looks SICK!
I started the run with the intention to abuse clones until I was strong enough to easily kill the advanced dragun for the first time. I also thought that after I killed him it would end my run and I wouldn’t be able to go to the lich so I kept killing my self before the advanced dragun fight to restart with the clone. Having the dragons is actually really sweet bc they act as gun stones but they aren’t in your inventory bc with a run like this you have to manage your inventory bc if you have to much stuff the game will bug out. After I had killed myself five times I decided to take on the advanced dragun and discovered I can go to bullet hell after so I just kept it going to see how far I could get. I got to greedy though and last night the game had finally had enough. When I started a floor I couldn’t move at all so I had to close the game and the run was gone
Yeah, I'm surprised you mentioned crashes. Most of the time a single crash deletes the run for me. Still, legendary run! I personally just can't be bothered to keep it going after the third clone haha

Why not just get good instead?? Might as well not even play it if you are just going to cheat. What achievement is there in cheating? None.

It’s not cheating lol. It’s abuse of an item the devs put in the game and knowing people would do this. You must not play the game very much bc if you did you would know to even get this far and be able to accomplish this you have to have some skill in the game
Also like I said what sense of accomplishment do you get from this? If you were running a marathon and snuck off, got in a car, got out before the finish line just to run about 2 minutes would you feel like a champion if you won? No. No you would feel like an unaccomplished cheater.
Lololol dude 700+ hours begs to argue differently. And I did it all, 100% the game, without exploiting a bug aka cheating. You can justify it however you want but at the end of the day you have to use an exploit because you CANT do it without it. Doing a rainbow run is easy enough. But using this exploit is just lazy and imo cheating. Cheating in my opinion is playing the game not how it was invented to be played. You should be able to beat any boss or do whatever you need to do with just one single clone. Clone is already so OP it makes me think you must really suck at the game if you have to use multiple,looks like hundreds, to beat the game.
Like I said, justify it however you like but the reason you have to cheat is because you can't get good.

Dude, you kinda suck. Have you considered getting good at life? When was the last time someone hugged you? When was the last time you looked upon the endless beauty of the Stars above? When was the last time you received a genuine compliment from someone who isn't a family member? When was the last time you smiled. When was the last time you felt true happiness? All of your accomplishments in life and you still fall short so easily.
