Pretty much finished dialing this in after a lot of research and trial and error. Everything here actually gets used and has earned its spot but I’m still undecided on the blade. I have the utility blade and one on the ARC but I want something a bit bigger.
I’m strongly considering a Benchmade Narrows, but curious on some other suggestions that fit this setup (office-friendly, lightweight, good steel).
Would love to hear what you’d add or swap 🤙 Full list of everything pictured is in the comments!

Do you wear a watch on both wrists?
He wears them on his knuckles for those every day fights
Nah, just have two for different occasions and styles that I rotate
So not EDC then.
Cake here to say this
He uses one or the other every day? Does that not count?
I guess that’s EODC… Every Other Day Cary. /s
Man they are serious as fuck about needing to carry it every single day 👀
Buncha nerds haha
Seems extremely fucking queer lmao
Does not wearing each every day count as EVERYDAY carry? No
For sake of argument I wear one in the morning and one in the evening 😎

😭
Rich kid on Christmas type beat
Just missing a Staccato to complete this
Had to get this posted before Christmas to avoid the accusations
I mean it still applies, most people don’t have the money for Speedmasters and trips to Japan at 21 lol
Fair, we can gloss over the Porsche key too
Daddy’s wallet is heavy. Can’t hate on it too much, it’s good to see parents providing for their kids. Merry Christmas.
Working full time (while in school) + I used to flip LEGOs on FB marketplace, lol. Merry Christmas
You didn't buy a Porsche flipping Legos lol
sure ya do
Lol
I knew kids at 19-21 who worked full time and had no expenses and they'd dump like 1500 a month into a lease on some crazy car back in 2007. Definitely enabled by living with parents and having everything else covered for them but they did pay for the cars themselves.
https://preview.redd.it/fwelg4vk4d9g1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5036b9408616fa3c566a98b3912fabbf6fd61ae3
I bought my 993 Turbo playing video games and my old classmate bought his first $800k CAD home cause he needed more room for his Lego/Toy flipping business. So it’s not unreasonable.
It's much better to just admit that it's not all your money
Seriously, “flipping legos on fb marketplace” is almost flair worthy
Which porsche though? At 21, you’re treading a fine line between country club tennis mom in a Cayenne, middle-aged Wall Street bro in a 911, and dope classics enthusiast in a 356.
Heavily depreciated Taycan that I bought used
Another unblemished but used every day collection of must haves.
I reckon 90% of the posters here could drop their EDC to phone, keys and multitool and see ZERO detriment to their day to day.
Yeah, I could drop mine to only what’s on the keys probably but it’s for the love of the game
So…not used daily then.
K.I.S.S. is best for edc mate.
I mean… I could get by with a 20 year old camry but that doesn’t mean I’d rather drive one
I’ll grant you that 😂
Bro has rescue sheers 😂
I carried trauma shears on my Marine Corps plate carrier for 8 years, only ever used them once for a legit medical incident. Used them damn near everyday for other random shit though 😂
I’ve got a set in each vehicle. They’re handy as hell.
They’re unironically so good for random shit like cutting up cardboard boxes but they probably won’t ever see a rescue 💀
Former paramedic here - don’t use those raptors to cut cardboard boxes unless you’re prepared to buy a new set. They’re horrendously difficult to sharpen, and paper is surprisingly rough on scissors.
Leatherman covered mine under warranty when they needed to be sharpened because it was gen-1 and a known issue. Now they charge or send them back still dull.
How the hell do you have a speed master and a spring drive at 21? Massive respect if you worked your way into those, because those are not basic watches. Grab a moon phase next and really flex on all of us lmao 👀
Apparently I need to post pay stubs to avoid getting flamed online 😭 I just wanted to buy them early so I could enjoy them longer—probably won’t get anything else for a long long time
Are these post a joke?
Yea look at the date it’s April 1st
Got it. It’s a joke and a bad one at that. Strong flex with those non working toys.
Idk anything here that’s non working
Going hard on that wrist game for 21. Nice choices.
Thank you!! I’ll admit they’re a bit basic but I love them. I got the Shunbun during a trip to Japan last year and my girlfriend loves the Speedmaster.
I won’t judge on your age and possessions, but to call a Speedmaster and Shunbun “basic” is way out of touch.
I agree. Total dick thing to say about watches like that. Figured he was a bit entitled based on the age and dollar value, but to call them basic proves that point
Probably. I only say so because within the watch community they’re so popular, but outside of that to the general public I suppose not so much
Two legends in their own right. I’m a speedy owner myself. It’s a fantastic piece.
You didn’t post the wheeled suitcase you carry this junk around with
I’m curious what specifically is junk
The whole kit and caboodle. It’s like the performative male stereotype boiled down to bulging pockets and a desperate need to be cool masked as useful.
I think by avoiding the question and just making generalizations you show you don’t really know what you’re talking about
OK sport
Impressive quality setup overall.
This screams "high-end collection" more than "daily driver" though. With 20+ tools + power bank, I'd estimate ~1.5-2.0 kg in total. Do you usually clip the Viperade to your belt with the carabiner, or do you keep it inside another bag/backpack? If it’s hanging directly from the belt and fully loaded, I imagine it could pull quite a bit and get uncomfortable over a full day.
Since the whole setup is so high‑end, these would be my knife picks to match that level: Kershaw Bel Air (85g, CPM-MagnaCut steel), Benchmade 535 Bugout (60g, S30V steel) and Spyderco Delica 4 (70g, cuts way above its size).
Thanks! It’s more meant to be something that won’t have to be replaced anytime soon. It is heavy so not everything gets carried daily, but I pick and choose what I’ll need each day. Otherwise I’ll clip it to or leave it inside a bigger bag, definitely not to my belt loop, lol.
Someone else suggested the same Kershaw and it looks really good, the only thing I’d probably change out is the scales.
RIP your pockets
Man it's crazy, you could get so many nice actual tools for the money you spend on that crap lol. I suppose you're just a collector so it's pretty cool.
I feel like there’s a place for both. The best tool is the one you have available, so for me at least these are pretty helpful. I’m not a homeowner yet so I don’t have a full actual toolkit but it’s something I’m working on next probably.
You won’t be a homeowner anytime soon spending money like this on trivial stuff like “EDC”
The way I look at it buying high quality now means they don’t break and I save money later
I agree with you. Buying quality is very important. But consumerism in general is not to way to saving money.
Oh definitely. I think it looks like a lot but the idea is that I can have some self control and not need more going forward

Tell me the nail trimmer and I'll recommend a knife.
It’s the XGIZMOO foldable nail clippers, I got it on Amazon for like $10
I'd recommend the Victorinox nail clippers. I got two and they're very nice
I was gifted those many years ago, still use them. Definitely the best, but last I checked they stopped making them. It looks liken they either sold their design or it was ripped off by chinese manufacturing.
I was looking to get these instead, but I couldn’t find the flat ones anywhere online
Rivery MFG Zero utility blade
Olight iMini 2 keychain flashlight
Victorinox Rambler with custom Titanium Scales
Porsche Leather Keyfob Holder (Etsy)
TISUR titanium keychain pill case
KeySmart mini
Apple AirPods Pro 3 with Belkin Leather Case
NYLeatherWorks Conan Wallet (Black)
Fisher Space Pen
Omega Speedmaster Sapphire Sandwich
Grand Seiko Shunbun
Just curious, how do you carry around the pouch? I like the loadout but seems bulky and inconvenient to lug around.
I love how NOBODY gets the name of those tweezers right.
No gun, no ammo, no pepper spray, do you even EDC?
Cali unfortunately
[deleted]
Ty sir I was meaning to do this but was on mobile
You’re regularly carrying a pair of Leatherman raptors, a pair of Knipex Cobra water pump pliers, a wall charger and a battery pack, a zippo and two other nondescript metallic blocks, a keychain tweezer, and a whole ass modular screwdriver set up?
Oh and a Swiss Army knife, two flashlights, and a bespoke prybar?
Do you carry this all in your pockets or do you have bag that holds all of it? Like maybe a sling pack?
Pouch top left
Failed definition of EDC
🤓
I find these comments hilarious.
The dorks in here all are posting shit like this daily and equally as corny, then this young kid comes, does the same shit, but because people are jealous he clearly has money they hate and downvote.
You have good taste OP (I also have a Porsche & daily my speedy)
I’m having a good laugh too. Especially on Christmas like we got nothing better to do 😂 Do you have the Speedy with the newer clasp? Mine is 2022 so it doesn’t have as good a micro adjust so I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the $700+ to retrofit the new clasp to the bracelet.
Have had it for ages. Bought in 08’
Just about 12k in two watches alone. It's some nice stuff but I wouldn't believe you if you said you'd paid for most of it. I hope you're at the very least grateful for the things you've been given.
Other than the GS, I bought (the watches and a few other items) used and watched listings for a long time. Still expensive, but more like $3500 for the Speedy (paid $4500 but had a credit card offer which netted $1000 in points)
It’s just too much… there is no purpose or theme here…streamline my friend
What do you think could be let go/is redundant? That’s partly why I haven’t got a knife yet since there’s already two blades
What do you do daily that you need all this as a 21yo college kid
Life
That grand seiko is clean
I wouldn’t get a Benchmade damn near 300 for s30v and g10 I crazy spyderco para 3 same materials and like 150
I had a Para 3 for a while but I wasn’t big on the material of the scales, it felt too much like a nail file for me
Try the lw version you can also get lots of after market scales for it too like aluminum and ti
A lot of quality items but the use cases to me seem redundant, loaded, and bulky to carry around all the time. Your Arc can cover most of the tools in your spread. I guess if you’re going to continue adding stuff, maybe consider a quality mini first aid kit to pair with the raptor rescue.
Okay, so we have a multiple grand watch, a Porsche key for one of their more boring models, a 21 year old who posts at a college subreddit and stuff that looks brand new that got "a lot of trial and error and dialing in" and also "gets used".
Nothing looks worn, most of it probably isn't even paid for by you, and it basically looks like "most bought products on Amazon" when you look for EDC.
If you like it - cool. I imagine you'll drop 90% of it within the next year or two and basically only carry phone, wallet, keys and maybe two or three actually useful items.
We got the grinch over here 😭 Merry Christmas
I’ve seen them get some hate before, but Grand Seiko makes the most gorgeous dial faces in the industry and it’s not even close.
Really nice carry, OP!
Thank you!! I think it all comes down to personal preference but I really like it
https://preview.redd.it/7tsfpos8hd9g1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93a60373da924cec566a36eb63e39632b8216b63
If you’re thinking Benchmade, if actually go with the kershaw bel air, better knife for the money, still American made, and some options for handle materials. I have the xl which I prefer over any of the Benchmades I have.
That’s nice actually. How do you like the opening action and size? Those are the main selling points for me.
The action is great, kershaws run on bearings and Benchmades are usually on washers, so it’s a smoother/snappier action. I prefer the larger size of the xl, I’m a large glove size if that helps.

I actually had it in my pocket.
That’s a nice size actually. I’ll check it out. Thanks for the solid recommendation 🤙
Also +1 for the pupper
Don't hurt the pup 🥺😠

When I was 21 (1987) I was a Russian CTI in the Navy, aircrew (EA3B & E2C), and my literal EDC while on missions was probably 1/4th this carry. My PFK (pre-flight kit) had FAK gear, 9mm, Leatherman PST, survival gear, Seiko Chron strapped, and such…but still.
I still have my Japanese-made PST, fyi.
A Japanese Leatherman? That’s super cool, I’ve never heard of it. Obviously I appreciate Japanese craftsmanship with the GS. Now I want one 😂

Yup…in all her glory…
Oh, I’m a James Brand fan as well…

I found out recently they have their only physical store less than 30 minutes away from me, where their brand started in Oceanside CA. Pretty cool
Thank you for posting to r/EDC!

what’s the lone air tag for?
If im not mistaken it's connected to his headphones
yessir I know the AirPods have built in tracking but I feel like it’s not reliable enough so I just have it connected to the lanyard attached to the headphones. second one is on my keys. I have a third zipped inside the pouch, and fourth inside a card insert in the wallet. funnily enough i’ve never lost any of those
sorry, what is the silver bar with the paracord string attached to it?
Rivery MFG Zero. It’s a utility blade/box cutter with a super satisfying extension and retraction, definitely give it a look
Might be interested in this guy: https://youtu.be/rxje9AvaPUs?si=IxlSjRzEkrgUDreg
Just ordered one
Trama Shears but no first aid gear
What should I get? IFAK? I have a first aid kit but just in my car. I more so use them just for heavier cuts
So, what belt do you wear to keep your pants up?
I don’t use a belt just an old shoelace
flashlight, lighter, one watch, pen, key holder, wallet, and knife or small tool. There is to much hanging from your key chain…it gives the appearance you are trying to hard. Simple is better and more aesthetically pleasing. Go simple, but no simpler than is necessary. You have some good pieces…
You have great taste in watches.
Ty sir 🫡
Why do you have a an AirTag on the AirPods? They’re part of find me aren’t there?
Yeah but it’s not nearly as reliable or precise as the one on the AirTag. Plus if I run the headphones dead (which I do a lot) I’m hosed
As a medic. What do you use your shears for?
Check out Mr. TARDIS pockets over here.
This is a solid collection for sure. I honestly don’t see a single issue with any piece of gear here. You flared it as a collection, so I’m not sure why some people are giving you a hard time lol.
I absolutely love my Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight. I carry the same Knipex, a Para 3, Mighty Bar, Fisher pen, and a pair of Fiskars folding travel scissors all in an Alpaka Zip Pouch Pro, and it’s the most manageable, well-rounded EDC setup I’ve put together after years of experimenting.
Insane watches for a 21 year old. Great picks that will last you a lifetime
Thanks! Yeah that’s the hope. Now I won’t spend on watches again anytime in the near future 😂
What's the pouch?
Viperade VE30 MOLLE
Isn’t AirTag kind of redundant on the AirPods?
There’s an interesting disconnect between people praising expensive gear and shitting on it when someone showcases the same gear in the EDC space. It’s a maximalist carry, sure, but why the hate?
Age probably
Nice 👍🏻
Do-anything except being able to run 😬
Bruh why is everyone hating the jealousy goes crazy 😂
Love to see when someone is kind and has cool shit, it creates all downvotes lol - weird place. Merry Xmas dude and everything looks great! you need a CRK Small Sebenza 31 in Magnacut to finish this all off
I didn’t even say anything wrong either 😭 I was looking into CRK I actually really like this suggestion
It’s just jealously due to speedy and Porsche + age.
Speedy = upvote
Holy based
Benchmade 940 is the best EDC knife. Bar none.
It’s nice I just can’t get over the indent design on the scales it just looks a bit odd to me, but I suppose it could be changed out
Weird looking for sure, but it is so functional. The blade shape, the handle. It’s all comes together and makes a great tool that’s fast to deploy and great for fidgeting. I’ve got plenty of Spyderco, Chris Reeves, etc. and over the years they have ended up in my display case. Nothing else ends up in my pocket than the 940 (except for the bugout I carry when wearing shorts). I hated the look at first too but bought it based on recommendations, then came to love the look.
Yeah I’m leaning toward something a bit cheaper for a knife just so I can beat it up with no regard
