I bleached my hair after about 2 years of having dreads and my hair came out how I wanted it, you want to water down the bleach a good bit, but also my girl is a hair tech so she probably did more to it than Ik
You’d have to spend A LOT of time in the sun and if you’re living in an area where the sun at out and it ain’t warm/hot year round you’re not achieving this,
Depends on your hair porosity. Get a light honey blonde. Use 40 volume peroxide. And cover with plastic cap. Sit under dryer for 15-20 minutes. No bleach should be needed. It may not get as light as you want on the first go round. But you won't need to use any bleach on your hair
She cut her locs recently, but she explained it all on her YouTube channel, and her reasons made sense, imo. But yeah, when she had her locs, she inspired a lot of people. She still has her videos up on how she started & cared for her locs though.
I was one of the people she inspired. She combed hers out about a year after I got mine started and I was so upset. I couldn’t understand it. Then I had to remember that it’s her head and hair 😂 therefore, none of my business. She did it about two years ago.
I used Cajun spice in my hair and once that faded, my hair turned this color. I’m sure the sun helped as well. The only issue is keeping it moisturized, or maybe that just my 4C hair?
I used Cajun spice by adore, and once the red faded out my hair turn into this golden brown color like the picture. I didn’t intentionally bleach or lighten it (unless the adore color has lightener). It’s been twoish years, and I also didn’t know what I was doing. I do like the color, but keeping my hair moisturized is a challenge and I think it might have something to do with the color or my hair texture.
My hair changed to a light brown. Probably from the sun. And I am from Michigan.
I can probably say some genetics played a part because I think some parts of my hair is a deep brown.
I am African American.
I will say if you spend time outside a lot. And also wet your hair a lot and go outside, something will happen.
Doubtful, that's westindieray and she definitely bleached hers
Not only did she bleach it, I am pretty sure she bleached it before locing which makes maintenance MUCH easier. She was also a deep conditioner user.
Danggggg it

U can use henna powder to dye it naturally but not that bright
Achievable most likely not,

L’Oréal hi color highlights for bleach free color and blondes! It’s the only thing I use, all you need is developer
Not achievable.

I will definitely try
Please don't do this at home!
Go to someone who is experienced with lightening locs.
My dreads used to get this color from just being in the sun all day. If the genetics dont hit u def gotta bleach tho
This girl in the pic is gorg I wonder what her routine is

Luckily, I wasn't loc'd then, or I probably would've cried 😅😅
My hair looks a lot like that. I’ve had my loccs did 11 years and I spend a lot of time outside and the lake I wakeboard in has high sulfur content.
What about Wax?
