I bought her super cheaply because (a) she’s obviously fake and (b) her leg has some sort of surface defect. Actually I bought her in two cheap parts - body and head, each defined as “with defects.”
However, now that it comes to it I can’t bring myself to obliterate her faceup. I think that she is beautiful. She even has a name now, Evangeline.
So, back to the thrifting bins for a doll to be my test doll for my first ever faceup.

They always have molding defects at their calves! That is the one complaint I have but it is easily remedied by swapping it with some genuine ones.
Not sure how I would acquire genuine parts for her. Being lazy I’m more inclined to cover her plastic psoriasis leg with stockings
Bonus points if you use black stockings, you don't have to worry about staining 🖤

Arrived in the mail like magic that I don’t remember even ordering. They are way too big, designed for Barbies.
Evangeline doesn’t care. She’s super self conscious about her legs so she feels much better.
