Hey man, fuck it, they are actually making something and putting the time in. I’ve seen uglier couches sell for tens of thousands. May these dudes make it big and get stupidly rich stupid people to buy their stupidly expensive stupid couches.
This looks way more usable than most of the absolute shittier garbage I see in this sun so props for that, also didn’t try to waste 5 mins of my life on BS so props for that too
Thank you. I agree. One problem we ran into was not enough fabric. We just found the most pickle-esque fabric we could at hobby lobby but they just barely had enough so we just made it work!
Great job though! For next time, you could add some more cushioning, plus a thick layer of dacron batting before the upholstery, that should give it enough volume to fix most of the wrinkles.
Source: I make stage costumes and props for a living. And trust me bro, my first sewing project looked way worse than yours.
Ok ok. Thsts definitely the kind of advice I need for the next one. We tried using spray adhesive and that kind of made it have these weird wrinkles so I probably wont use as much of that for the next one! Thank you so much though.
No no, let them cook.
We're cooked
I think you are on to something. The final look is a little lacking but the pickle couch has potential. Don’t let your dreams stay just dreams.
Im gonna run with the idea and see what else I can come up with. Thank you.
I think a little cleaner on the upholstery and you’ll nail it.
Hell yeah! Thank you.
Is it comfy?
Its not terrible... its a little to narrow but it still does its job.
Chase lounge. Amazing.
Thank you!
No I mean… chaise longue.
Wait whats the difference? Besides the spelling?
There’s no such thing as a chase lounge.
Ok thanks for explaining that to me

It was fun and it was a awesome project to complete!

I’m a simple man, I see Molchat Doma, I upvote
Yessss
Wrong sub. I would say, take what you've learned and do a better one. Then you can post to r/ATGE. For today, I think it belongs in r/DIWhyNot
Thank you for the advice. I think your absolutely right.
Sick Molchat Doma shirt
He turned it into a pickle! Funniest shit I've ever seen
Hell yeah thanks!

Hell yeah! Thanks for watching and giving feedback.
Gotta be better than the floor. And a kick to do.
Just a vlassic chase lounge.
Exactly! Except someone explained to me that its chaise not chase hahaha I spelled it wrong oops
Sir this sub is for stupid stuff that makes no sense, r/Diwhynot is that way
Your right! I messed up in the best way possible. Everyone has been super supportive! Best sub ever haha.
Great job! Natural pros
Thank you!
As long as it's got enough padding and is comfortable the other issues can be refined.
Yeah we made sure to use 2 inch foam on the sitting areas and even double layered the angled back.
Keep it muted.
You've been warned.
Oh sorry! My bad
You don't like bigxthaplug? 🤣
It's hilarious to me that that's his name. And I unapologetically like his music. Yes, it is obnoxious, I know.
BIGX, BIG STEPPER 🎵
I liked the song!

I definitely need some practice. Frist thing I've ever sewn.
It's missing some cushions, they will hide some of the imperfections. ;)

You're more than welcome!
