Wanna new killer keychain?

I mean, you can store your keys in the AC outlet now so you don't lose them!

Make a key board out of fake outlets

    35 points pm_your_boobiess

    Why fake?

    parent root
    46 points TheGluehbirne

Well, if you like how it tingles and don't mind to reset the breakers, you could use real ones I guess

    9 points Punker0007

    Who need breakes?

    parent root
    8 points RipplesInTheOcean

Simply make sure your deychain doesnt draw more than 14 amps and it wont trigger the breakers :D

    parent root
    2 points KevinFlantier

Who are you to tell me how many amps I can pull when I'm shorting a circuit with my body? I want all the amps!

    3 points b0gl

Just tape those suckers in the on position

Not even a shot of someone plugging it into a socket so it’s easy to find??

    parent
    7 points VAiSiA

you can laugh, but there is device for finding this right fucking breaker in messy offices

    parent root
    2 points pixelbart

The ones that I know of don’t have exposed live metal parts.

    parent root
    1 points VAiSiA

yeah. last time modified this shit. now its not just wire, but another breaker. with higher then usual amperage

    parent root
    1 points pixelbart

So it’s basically an LER that lights up if someone bypassed the breaker?

    parent root
    2 points VAiSiA

you create shortcut. with safer option. and target breaker sets off, if it works XD. once upon a time our job was in military office. told them to shut down all pcs. tested lines. found weak spot in wall :)

Legal issues get messy quickly. Talk to a lawyer and make sure you understand your rights.

  • 3 points knotsmaster

A short circuit will occur and the maximum current protection will be activated. Short-term exposure to 230 volts rarely leads to death.

  • 4 points Greedy_Bother_987

Stupid. What's stopping a child plugging it in? Bzzz bang

    parent
    7 points LaymantheShaman

Definitely not a smart idea, but low chance of electric shock the loop that was inserted into the hot glue was shorter than the depth the drill went. Plugging it in would likely just lead to an open circuit.

Leave cable on and clip it, now you have a spare plug handy

Plug those and find out, i guess.

Because if you plug it in, you die.

    parent root
    11 points RustyBlad3s

No you don't ? How on earth would you die?

    parent root
    7 points Realistic-Car-9173

That’s nonsense…. I plug in on Sundays when I’m recharging all the time

    6 points DownvoteEvangelist

Probably not since there's glue separating hot wires and that metal bit. Really a missed opportunity, should have made sure that the wires either connect to the key ring and keys for added security, or that hot pin connects directly with neutral using some nice thick wire as a trap for people stupid enough to plug it in..
