I’ve been working on a side project that might be useful to people here: https://hiringnow.ie/. It’s a site that aggregates open roles directly from several hundred employers in Ireland, with a strong focus on software/tech roles.
A few details:
- Jobs are pulled from company career pages rather than generic job boards, so it’s mostly direct‑employer roles.
- It covers companies across Ireland (startups, SMEs, multinationals), and I’m continuously adding more sources.
- The goal is to make it easier to see who’s actually hiring in Ireland right now without trawling through multiple sites.
I’d really appreciate feedback from other Irish devs:
- Is the site useful in its current form? Anything obviously annoying or missing?
- What extra filters or features would you actually use (e.g. stack filters, remote‑friendly flag, salary presence, etc.)?
I’m also trying to expand coverage, so:
- If you know of Irish companies (or companies hiring into Ireland) with public jobs listed on their own sites—especially tech/engineering roles—please drop their names or links in the comments so I can look at adding them.
- If you work somewhere that has an internal or slightly hidden careers page, feel free to share that too (if you’re allowed), and I’ll see if it can be included.
Finally, if mods feel this is too promotional, happy for the post to be removed—I’m mainly hoping it’s a useful resource for people job‑hunting here and would love input from the community.
Just tried to search for some jobs. Hope there is a filter for experience and job description. For now most of jobs I clicked are no description available
Cool idea, fair play looks pretty good - just a heads up that on my phone the fields at the top overflow the container
Many thanks! Didn't even check the mobile view! 🧐
The main search searches the job descriptions as well.
Looks great. Maybe you should add the pagination details at the bottom to know what page out of how many you’re on.
I agree. I got to the bottom and it looked like there was only a single page. Also, when you navigate to the next page, you're left at the bottom of the list, so you have to scroll up and then down again to move to the next page.
Good job! Keep it up!
Bookmarked.
Great work.
I’ll dive in and give it a real test.
A mobile version would be nice, but keep working your web version first . It’s good.
I think I managed to make it slightly less horrible on a mobile now.
But yeah, my first goal is to try to find all sites with jobs in Ireland. Since even the best-looking site, a small subset of all jobs published doesn't really do not good to anyone.
So if anyone knows of any more companies that have jobs published online, I am all ears!!!

What is in "All cork". Math doesn't add up.
Hi there, I like your idea and bookmarked it too.
A couple of things you can add - job field, like engineering, medical, construction, legal, finance and in the sun category of that you can put the companies.
Experience level - early career, mid senior, senior , director
Job date - new, posted today, posted 15 days ago
Expiring date - expiring by this date
Now, I believe in the initial phase that it's not getting connected with the public job website and giving error jobs not found 404
I'd be happy to contribute if you have any task and open for having a discussion too.
Good idea but the mobile experience is really bad
I can imagine... TBH, I would really like to make it as a phone app. If people find it useful!
What does the tech stack look like out of interest?
Just python. 3.11 to be specific.
Cognizant
Simotech
PM Group
https://hiringnow.ie/?search=Cognizant
https://hiringnow.ie/?company=pm-group
https://hiringnow.ie/?company=simo-technology
Next? :)
Dark mode would be nice! Also more results per page
Had a Quick Look there. Any reason why I’m seeing several roles outside Ireland? Image attached just one example. Not sure if this role is remote and hiring locally or what, but wasn’t really clear.

Oops! Will fix the filter!
If I look at like Mullingar it's showing me 77 jobs for Revolut which are all remote which is a little confusing
Time for a complete rebuild of that whole front end... Working on it!
:D I suppose you need a fully remote / hybrid tag and filter
Very few companies pilublis that in their job specs.
Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!
Quick update: https://hiringnow.ie/ - new NextJS site. Is that a step in the right direction?
Special thanks to 1Shamrock for the suggested companies to add! Just so you know – everything has been added now. If anyone has any other companies that are listing their jobs in Ireland, please just list them here or DM if you prefer to do so.
Any other suggestions, just let me know. I am aware of plenty of 404s in the new UI (like Login, etc). I have just left that on a page as a reminder to myself of what needs to be built. :)
Thanks again for all your help!!!
Nice UI and ease of use, OP. Great work
I would like a fully remote WFH option if possible added
Also option to show salary and maybe filter jobs showing salary ranges would be a nice addition as well
I am limited to what is available on public careers sites. Almost none have neither salaries nor WFH mentioned.
Thanks! It's still early days!
Curious if you heavily used AI for the site? Seems to be more and more posts like this
Sorry, did you mean AI to develop the site or write the post?
The site.
