What's a Xûr?
Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who appears weekly in the Tower. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Strange Coins in exchange for them.
TL;DR: He's the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it's coal.
When does Xûr visit?
Xûr visits every Friday at 17:00 UTC and departs at Weekly Reset (Tuesday 17:00 UTC). If you would like to see all the live conversions of Time Zones, please follow this link here.

Archie wishes you a happy reset and good luck!
Never forget what was lost. While the API protests have concluded, Reddit remains hostile to its users.
Guys that suros Regime catalyst is pretty rare, pick it up
Those 300 crucible kills were rough for me as a pve player
I wanted to get it done for completion reasons, even though I normally hate PvP. Over my D2 years I have forced myself to do this for some other weapons, but for this I couldn't... Same thing as a few other PvP-related catalysts.
Quite a pity to see a weapon's full potential locked behind this. And as always, the whole reason of playing a game is to have fun, not force yourself to do anything you don't like or even worse, hate.
If you really hate the idea of having to do it in regular crucible, note that this catalyst (and other similar ones, like MIDA's) can be completed in private matches.
Touch of Malice is the only catalyst I haven't gotten...and I accept my fate.
I haven't tried it lately, but man ... it used to be FUUUN in PvP.
Same I just finished it after like 2 months...
Man I’ve had it 3 years and never completed it 😂
AFAIK, they can be done in private matches. Wanna team up and shoot each other in the face for an hour? (This is also an open invitation to anyone else who need PVP progress for a catty.
i would love to be a part of this
Cool. I'll go online and invite you. Just tell me your in-game alias (in a PM, if you're worried about privacy).
solidus_kalt is my ingame name
I need to know the full name , including the numbers at the end. The game doesn't consider it a valid username otherwise.
i beg your pardon i didnt know this. i stupidly waited and logged off after checking i answered/posted you the correct name - it wasnt because the numbers were missing. sorry sir
Sure
Let me know your full in-game username (with hashtag and numbers and all) so I could invite you. You can also send a PM for more privacy.
decent martyrs if you missed it during Echoes.
oh that does look nice!
Yes, that one caught my eye.
I may never use it, but I want it…
Martyr's with Heal Clip is cool
good triton vice for us glaive fans remember melee buffs glaive melee!
but no adept weapon is unfortunate
No harmonizer again, xur is dead to me
What are you using Harmonizers for now that all craftables are kind of left behind as "old gear"?
(Not meant as a dig / to be snarky; genuinely curious what people are chasing red borders on nowadays.)
Oversoul Edict for me...
Ooh yeah, that's a fun one! I love all the Crota weapons for that explodey origin trait alone. Good times. :)
Class swords since Bungie never added another way to get those red borders.
Duality weapons, since there is no trickle of guaranteed red borders.
Heal Clip Martyr's not bad at all.
Decent rolls on Rapacious, Recluse and Martyr's.
Dbreak glaives can be fun if you don’t have one
we need Witherhoard catalyst please. I cant find it for years
Ooh...Edge transit......
I'm trying to figure out if that's a good Dawn Chorus, because I'm not actually sure what archetype I should be looking for.
Most Exotic Armor has a pretty distinct purpose that means you really want a specific archetype: Grenadier, Paragon, Specialist, etc. If I'm running Solar in PVE, I'm probably not using Dawnblade as my super, so Dawn Chorus would just be for general Scorch buffs rather than buffing my super. Given that, does it even matter which stats it has (other than not having a Health spike)?
you get melee energy from scorch damage so scaling melee to 70-100 for radiant from torches is nice
Maybe Paragon, then? Super plus Melee could play into its strengths, although as a Warlock it’s tough to give up Grenade stat. Hellion is such a no-brainer for Scorch building that I feel like Grenadier might almost be better.
High melee stat with heat rises/hellion is nice
Use airborne kills to get your melee back for radiant spam
Healing grenade noms for resto and heat rises
And use 2 arm mods for grenade damage giving you class ability back because hellion is grenade damage
Nice-ish roll on the glaive. Glaive melees count as kinetic damage. That means Disruption Break will proc on follow-up attacks after you break the enemy shield.
Someone else mentioned that the Triton Vice roll was nice.
Grab both of these, and you're eating good.
When's the last time xur sold Acrius? I still need it 😭
You get Acrius from the Monument to Lost Light. I believe you need spoils of conquest for it though
Ohhh I forgot about that
It's a raid weapon so I don't think that he ever has. Pretty sure that you have to buy it with spoils of conquest.
he has sold it before, twice actually.
You might be confusing the catalyst with the gun. He has sold the catalyst before, but the gun is still exclusive to the exotic monument.
The caty?
If the exotic archive in the tower is still a thing you buy it from there with spoils
