There's an old Polish joke about someone going to the doctor and complaining that every time they drink tea their eye hurts, the doctor says: 'Then take the spoon out of your mug!'.
As an extremely bitter left handed person who has experienced this sort of thing throughout my life, now you guys know how it feels!
Right handed people have no idea how many products are made only for them.
Edit:
Although having given this some thought, this mug clearly wouldn’t work the other way around either. I have no idea which species this mug is made for, but it’s not human.
My family calls them “pen cup mugs” because they’re a great option for serving that purpose. Also a good way to appear grateful for a gifted mug you just can’t drink from
if it’s is a handmade mug it’s probably just an amateur who made a mistake. It’ll hold lots of pencils though. Could use it to eat soup and ice cream (not together. unless…?)
So many right handed people have no idea what makes left-handed scissors different from right-handed ones.
Don't even get me started on the harm you can cause by teaching a left-handed person to use left-hand adapted electronics. (Hint: When is the last time you saw a left-handed mouse and keyboard?)
I work in the food prep department of a grocery store and there is exactly one piece of equipment that is specifically built for left handers: the industrial can opener. Like point it out if I see someone using it because A) it’s so novel to see and it makes me happy, and B) sometimes I see right handed people struggle with it and are shocked to realize things are built hand dominant

I told my doctor, everytime I drink coffee, I get sharp pains in both eyes...

Right, I was thinking about it the other way and I've come to the conclusion that it's a looking-at mug.

Plants, too!
I would recommend adding a smaller plastic pot within for drainage to avoid root rot.

You put the peeps in the chili pot and mix it all up...

It would work
it would be uncomfortable but it would work better than eye stabbing

My mouse is convertible, the body can tilt for either hand, and the software for it can swap any of its buttons to any function.
I've never seen a left handed keyboard.
How many IBUs are you (rough estimate is fine)

To be fair, some mugs are decorative only and not even food safe, this might be one of 'em and even if it's not it's certainly not human-safe lol
"Non food-safe mug" is up there with disposable vapes in terms of irresponsable corporate decision making.
Wrong, that's a feature, not a bug
That's a feature, not a mug
Who said it isn’t?
The design is very human
Blinding Mug™
Pokey the Porcupine
Or maybe just use the other way? Is it that hard to use the other hand? I am right handed and used to lift the mug with my left hand occasionally.
What do you mean? It fits perfectly!
As an owner of a very similar mug I can assure you that you have to really not consider bringing the mug to your face in order to recreate this photo
Just don't be a dumbass
But that’s what the business wanted and confirmed by the company designed user that speaks for all users!
Bonuses all around for getting it out and on time.
OOh my eyes
Design: 10/10. Usability: 0/10.
This mug gets your blood flowing. No coffee required.
🤣🤣🤣
you sip blood than coffee, will it be caffeine or what do we call it...?
This made me laugh way too much. 😆
