My husband and I are wanting to bring our teenage son to his first Bronco game this weekend! Our budget is roughly $1,500 per ticket. What sections should we be looking at getting? Can we get tickets in the lower bowl at this price? It looks like there are some options on Stubhub. Is that reliable for tickets or should I wait for Ticketmaster? Will that go on sale tomorrow or late this evening. Are there any other reliable websites to buy tickets?

Has anyone sat in the endzones in the lower bowl? Are those generally fun sections and can you see what’s going on during the game since you are on the end? Any other fun sections to look for?

What if we decide on club level instead, what would that be like as opposed to lower bowl. Any pros/cons here or is that way out of budget? We did a tour last year but I can’t remember much about it.

Any other advice to make this memorable experience for our son? We will be staying at the Springhill Suites within walking distance, so we don’t have to worry about parking at least.

Go Bronco’s!! I will be there in my old Decker jersey lol!

  • Damn are people really dropping 1500 bucks on a ticket???

It's the playoffs. People be dropping thousands.

Assuming the Broncos take care of business, the AFCCG is going make this game look like a bargain.

bro that's for a higher seat. this is the first home game in a decade and we have Bo freaking Nix. tickets are going to hit $3k for the lower bowl soon, if they haven't already.

just imagine for the 2nd game.

I'd hate to tell you what I paid for Taylor swift tickets section 113 Empower Stadium aftermarket prices.

What do you do for a living?

Two completely random incomes. HVAC sales and I own an embroidery business for fun money.

You should see the Championship Round tickets.

They don’t speak our language (we speak in the 100s) haha

  • Lower level 50 yard line is currently $1200. Safe to say you can sit wherever you want. Honestly, I'd save $500/ticket and sit 30ish yard line on Broncos side.

The ends are fun when they're close, but you're watching on the Jumbotron when they're on the other side. Worst seat in the house imo.

Good point. Probably better to be able to watch game in person and not on jumbotron. Is ticketmaster or stubhub better?

Fun fact. I've been on the Empower Jumbotron for a game before.

TM is how most season ticket holders list their seats because it's easier. You can do it directly through the Broncos app. It's also instantaneous transfer. Stubhub takes a bit sometimes. That said, both are perfectly safe

Stubhub is not safe. I got ripped off this summer for a baseball game. Guy sent me the tickets and then immediately claimed them themselves. They don’t make the seller send the tickets until an hour before the event starts.

Agreed I’d rather be in he lower 500s between the 20’s than in the end zones

  • Honestly, there's really not a bad seat in the house. End zones are my least favorite as it's difficult to see if a player makes it to the line to gain, but you can easily look up immediately to the jumbotron to see.

I am a new STH, but before I would usually sit in the 500s and try to sit as close to midfield and as close to the field as budget allows.

Upper 500s is a little rough as it's a pretty steep climb, so keep that in mind if bathroom and concession runs will be frequent.

Club level is great because it is less crowded for bathroom and concessions, but for me personally, id rather sit at midfield in the 500s rather than corner or end zone club level.

That’s some solid advice. I remember going to the first game. And getting some seats which I though were good, but they’re were off an angle. Now I know as long as you’re not in the nosebleeds, and however your budget allows, staying as close to the midfield is best.

We've sat in upper 500's and I don't think I ever will again. The only time I ever get vertigo is up there.

Agreed! I had 500 level seats for years and always felt like I was climbing a ladder and then needing oxygen once I got to my seats lol. And the constant running beer rivers under my feet were a bit of a turnoff.

  • I personally like the all-22 views from either an upper lower level or mid club level of the north or south end zone. The north gets the view of the jumbo screen while the south gets the two smaller.

  • Win or lose, i hope it will be a tremendous memory for you and your son. I’m happy for you and your family that you can do that. My father took me to Yankee stadium decades ago, and I’ll never forget it.

  • I’m your long lost daughter!! 😉 I think you need 4 tix now….

Haha! My two daughters are staying home. They don't get to go. I just took my 20 year old to Disneyland last week lol. But if Taylor Swift every comes back, girl you are in!!

  • I would just offer that for lower level seats the higher up you are, the better your view of the entire field. Like above the walkway… I think Row 24 is the first row above (Row 41 is the highest row, just under the suites). Seats lower and closer to the field are fantastic when the action is right in front of you but maybe not so much when it’s not.

With your budget you should be able to find good seats. Needing 3 seats instead of a pair will make your search a little harder. Good luck!

  • IMO the best place to watch any football game is in the endzone. One you are going to have some of the highest energy in the stadium. You also have the ability to see the entire play develop and see where the ball is going.

I started sitting endzone a couple year backs when i go to games and have never looked back.

  • We’ve sat in the lower bowl (100s), club seats and suites anywhere between 30 to 50 yard lines in visitor and Broncos sides when we visit Empower Field.

The experiences vary (and so does the costs). We like the United Club (300s). A good experience with great sight lines. The lines are shorter with action stations for food if you want. We like the lower bowl on either side but prefer the Broncos side. I get a better view of the whole field from Club level imo. The lower bowl is more “engaged” with great energy. The view of the field is also good.

It seems like the south stands are more lively but we haven’t experienced a game there yet.

Suites are a completely different experience imo.

  • Honestly, you don’t want to sit in the end zones. While the crowd is electric there and it’s amazing when they score in your end zone, you spend most of the game sitting watching the Jumbotron. It’s the most hit or miss sections in the entire stadium (I’d assume most stadiums tbh).

The best seats are obviously on the 50, but if you want to save some $ to buy your son a jersey or something from the team store, sit on the 30 instead. I’ve sat there many times and it’s the best value honestly. You save a couple hundred bucks per ticket depending on the game (when I bought my tickets last month it was $200 cheaper per ticket) and the view is just as good as the 50 yard line for a solid 70% of the game usually. You rarely have to rely on the Jumbotron to see what happened.

As far as pregame stuff goes, there isn’t much outside of tailgating. There is a sponsored tailgate that has unlimited food and drink (alcoholic and non) woth a bunch of tvs and games and stuff and has legit food and bartenders for drinks. It’s like $120 per person or so for 3 hours. Even for a minor, I think the experience is worth it since it’s at the replica of old mile high so you can go sit in that stadium replica and watch old highlights on the jumbotron.

If you want to buy stuff from the team store id say arrive no later than an hour before kickoff. The line usually moves pretty quick but it can get super long sometimes.

During warmups the stewards will typically let you roam around the lower bowl to get views of the players warming up and take pictures and all that. I’ve heard the team will occasionally pick fans doing that to go on the field but I don’t know how reliable that is.

No matter what you do though, your son is gonna have an absolute blast. I wish I had parents like you growing up. I’ll be there screaming my head off with you guys

Thank you for the info! Question on the sponsored tailgate. Do you need a ticket to the game for this or do you just buy the tailgate tix separate? My oldest daughter talked us into going to Denver but she isn't going to the game. Can she come to the tailgate then go back to the hotel?

  • hear me out: use that money and open a taxable brokerage for your son and deposit that into it with some stocks. and if he already has that, then just add more.

They’re spending $1500 per ticket. I think they’re doing OK without your financial advice 👍

Ooofff, nice call. Kind of mean though, no?

haha not really. most scenarios I come across people spend what they don't have. have you seen America's credit card debt lol the people you see wearing gucci and Louis Vuitton and usually the people who are broke

That's what grandparents are for. We like to waste our money on fun stuff.

haha youre not alone. most people do. enjoy the game!

We're waiting for the 'DM me for more info' pitch. This sounds like a financial advisor soliciting business lol

  • I might be in a spot to help you out, no SCAM involved here. I’m a STH traveling from out of town for the game by myself and I have 4 tickets. South stands, section 132, lower bowl.

I can’t stand Ticketmaster and how they pilfer fans and knowing this is a first game for your son, lets chat offline if interested or serious! Shoot me a DM.

Thanks for the offer but I ended up buying tickets this morning on ticketmaster. Section 108

Awesome! See you there. Go Broncos
