A LOT of people in the nfl community are very iffy on Bo Nix, this is his time to rise to the occasion against a top 2 quarterback. We know the defense is gonna show up and I believe if we beat the bills we are going to the Superbowl because the patriots looked like straight booty cheeks! LFG 💙🧡
Why is this an AMA lmao
By the advanced metrics Bo was the 14th best QB in the league this year. The way he gets talked about by some talking heads and Reddit commenters is just plain out of touch with reality. That being said we need him to play like the elite QB we’ve seen in spurts in order to win next week.
He was also 5th in WPA, which is the equivalent to MLB's version of WAR.

Also 5th in negative play mitigation.

WPA is not a good statistic. There is no WAR for football, too many variables
It's a leverage statistic that showed how well a player played in clutch situations. I think the biggest indicator of its value is to see who are Bo Nix's peers around where he finished being ranked. Which was top 5 with Stafford, Maye and Josh Allen around him this season.
We're going to need Bo to play elite for the rest of the year if we wanna continue this run.
We need Bo to have a good game and concert in the red zone. That being said, can we not shit on the man after his first overthrow? I understand some of them boos this year with the offensive performances, but I would be embarrassed to see our fans booing a second year QB at any point of a playoff game.
Bo's going to sing in the end zone?
after they win, why not?
Does anyone expect Bo to run more once we get into a situation of Win or Go Home
Well hopefully he watched the weekend games, almost all the top QBs this weekend used their legs to keep the chains moving. His legs are a great weapon, use them!
Bo will need to have another Green Bay game. He absolutely cannot turn the ball over.
The running backs will have to avoid getting stuffed. They need 3 yards MINIMUM every single carry, or the Bills pass defense will make life very difficult for Bo and the Broncos receivers.
Sean will need to call his best damn game of the season. No stupid ass runs right up the middle with Harvey for a 2-yard loss on first and goal. No stupid gadget plays that get blown up.
The defense will need to avoid giving up big plays or committing back-breaking penalties on 3rd down. I fully expect them to give up some yards, but they will absolutely have to go back to their early season form in the red zone to limit TDs.
I'm predicting a game like the Dallas game, shutting down a good offense and playing quick and precise on offense. After 2 weeks to prepare it's reasonable to expect we come out firing.
If Denver scores 24+ points..I'm pretty confident that we win 🧡💙🧡💙🧡
If Denver scores more points than the opponent.. I’m pretty confident that we win.
Nah man, no way.
We haven’t really saw Bo use his legs a lot this year. I think this will be the game Payton lets him run wild. I’m taking the over on his rushing yards
Yes , but don't really care about the MSM and the 'NFL experts'
I'm with you: Winners don't care what people talk about.
The Broncos should. They are the only team that can legitimately say that the general public does not respect them. They need to use it as fuel and beat the shit out of whoever they face.
I think they will ...but as a fan to even worry about all these folks is just meaningless
It's part of sports, though. It comes with the territory and is why a lot of people enjoy it. Shit talking is the best and worst part.
There’s a difference between trash talk among fans and our fans feeling personally slighted because the media isn’t giving our favorite sports team enough attention.
This is definitely going to be an important game for Bo’s legacy moving forward. I think a lot more so than last season, even. Last year we got in (barely) and basically laid an egg. But at 10-7 we had already way over performed.
Now we’re 14-3. Still way over performed comparatively, but now we can’t really bail ourselves out with any excuses. The jags game is looming large for me on this one. Can the offense do enough to beat these kinds of teams?
Bo doesn’t necessarily need to win handily to silence critics. But he does need to play like he did against Green Bay. And late against Philly. We cannot wait until there are 17-18 minutes left of football to start playing. That’s not going to work. 3 and outs have to be minimized and Josh can’t be allowed to dictate the pace of play with his legs.
It’s a tall task all around. But these aren’t the same Bills we faced last season, either. I’m excited to see it. Good or bad. Let’s see what we have and then move forward, hopefully to the AFC Championship game. Assumed to be against New England.
I’m not sure we should be 100% sure our defense is gonna show up.. they’ve been hit/miss the last couple months for sure
If the offense shows up and scores on a questionable defense in the playoffs (like the Dallas game earlier in the year) maybe it will change the narrative and I won't have to listen to folks bemoan the Broncos lack of respect anymore. All season long various fans have been offended on behalf of the team and various players.
This has been more annoying than any actual disrespect lmao.
Fans, being offended by the disrespect is more annoying than the disrespect? How so?
I find people like you more annoying to be honest. People that tell fans how they should react.
I’m not telling anyone how they should react to anything. I’m saying I think our fanbase is often really annoying and gets upset about things that are ultimately meaningless.
You getting upset about that is ironic…
How well is Bo able to decipher complex coverages? Has he gotten to the point he can do it without thinking too much? McDermott's scheme is reason we have the #1 pass defense in the NFL and made Trevor look very poor yesterday. It takes our defensive guys about 2 full years in the scheme to fully get comfortable with all the nuances. Mahomes is the only guy I've seen do reasonably well against it in the playoffs but Bo also beat him this year. This is the most important matchup of the game to discuss in my opinion
He can, he's been good at deciphering defenses since he was at Oregon, his footwork and accuracy is inconsistent though and if y'all are able to generate pressure on Saturday (I hope not) it could cause some strugglesÂ
Interesting. The other layer to it is this year we blitz more than in years past (which isn't saying much because in the past it was next to nothing). They're very random and from unexpected players but they've been very effective. McDermott and Babich will force Bo to think and process a lot. It's why McDermott has never lost to a rookie QB in 9 seasons as a head coach, it's a lot to process and makes guys start questioning their reads. If Bo has taken that next step and has a good game we likely lose. If we can limit him and force some mistakes we likely win. He's the key to this game for me
The key to this game is the Broncos defense, specifically the rushing defense, against the bills rushing offense.
That's my #2 key to the game. The Bills love to run because they're good at it and it wears a defense down come late second half but are willing to abandon it (to an extent) like yesterday when needed
Teams that have a top 5 RB and a top 5 QB scare me. Denver’s defense has traditionally struggled more with teams that have a good QB/RB combo than teams that have the QB/WR or even teams of old that used to beat us with the QB/TE combo.
I’m more concerned about our receivers dropping passes and our running backs getting stuffed.

You have legitimately no idea what you’re talking about.
Go back to playing marvel rivals

You are not a Broncos fan. You’re already predicting we lose, and rather than being prepared to celebrate our victory, you’re gonna come and rub fans noses in a loss.
Not only are you a terrible fan, but you’re a shitty person. Fuck right off.
